I just started playing silkroad and i'm really enjoying it ^^
Unfortunately i get alot of disconnections during the day (during night I almost never get dc), and logging in really is a pain in the *** for people who don't have premium
I used to play several online games before and actually i never experienced troubles regarding disconnections to the gameserver.
First i thought that joymax ramdonly disconnects players who didn't buy a premium pack, but a friend of mine who also doesn't own a premium pack didn't experience the same problem as i do.
I checked if packet loss maybe caused my problem, but on the last hop (which is Silkroads gameserver IP address) i don't have packet loss. I have packet loss on the second and third hop though.
To be sure that my problem isn't caused by my ISP, i checked if my internet connection was still up when i disconnected from the game. My internet connection was on for days already (after I resetting my modem it didn't go down) so my issues aren't caused by my ISP either.
My question to you is: are there more people who are experiencing the same problems as i do?
If so, do you already found a solution for it?
It really drives me crazy, it's no fun at all to be busy logging in for 30+ minutes, and in some cases it even can take more than an hour.
Please don't come up with things like "just buy premium", because i'm just a student and a premium pack each months isn't really affordable for me.
If there are any possible solutions, please let me know
