screen freezes

the game froze if u r using a multi client, some times the vga card cant afford the grafics, and it just frees , but ur game still connected and ur friends can u c moving in the game!

increase memory ram, buy new video card..anf reformat pc.. coz i had it before and its dur to a virus that affect win32 sumthign like that..ang chaneg program in my vga card..

if you dnt have money... try to reformat your pc and set sro graphics to lowest as possible..and when running sro,, dnt run any program together w/ it unless you use a bot.

Yea I think you might not have enough ram cause that happened to my friend and after he got more ram it was fine for him you guys should check this for system requirements

and then you should go to start and run dxdiag to see if you match the requirements

i had it a little ago too.
Without multiclient i everytime freezed after some sec when i were ingame, but when i used only 1 core i didnt.
Now i have sometimes with Multiclient the situation, that when i want to switch back to the other client, it doesnt react. I mean i dont see anything, it remains black^^
But im still ingame and can accept partys with enter. But i get soon dc xD
Or when you dont have enough free memory and want to login your second char, sometimes your mem dissappears ^^, you will get ???? error on loading screen for 2. char. Then it helps to free your ram manually after you started the 2. client. But do that before login in the 2. char.
And a good thing is too, before login in 2. char or teleporting one of that chars, to higher the process priority before. After login or town you can set it back to normal.
But more RAM is never wrong^^


And if you get a Direct 3D error after ???? crash and say you wouldnt have enough video memory etc when you try to start a second client, theres a solution too. Try to start a other game (i use warrock) till the grafik engine loads, then go out of that game and you can start the 2. client without problems ^^

My game sometimes freezes when its loading up and just stays there just after launching client screen,
to fix this i dont know why but this works.
I launch the loader and get something else up like click on agbot or Internet explorer and have that up, then Silkroad dont freeze then, its when i dont have it highlighted and something else up.

Give it at least 10 seconds before you click silkroad on the taskbar again..

Tell me if this wierd technique works for you guys with it freezing at intro with loader.

BTW it only freezes for me with loader
