Access to Joymax main PC

hey guys, i meet a guy that was really fuucking ritch, he has 39b, and his char got banned because that, now he started a new char, and he have again 39b, he offer sun´s to all, and i know he cannot buy that much gold.

he told me it it was a bugg, when u make that (later i will say) ur char get bugged, and can be benned.

well he told me u need to access to joymax main computer, get edit maker, and then i can do what ever i want.

i ask him how i make it, but he told me i need to have the right acessory´s to do that.

well, dont make s**t pots here, just wana know if, its possible get acesse to joymax main pc, and hack it like he told me.

Pretty much anything is possible but in this case it's veeeery unlikely. If that guy had access to joymax server internals, just creating himself gold would be pretty stupid for someone who has such abilities. He'd rather get account data and make money with that, not to mention the server files. (Did he really say 'main pc'? because there is no main pc, obviously)

the GM's working from their home as i know and all of them do have limited database acces, but clearly there is no main pc lol

lol of course they have a main Server with the Char/Item etc database...
a few jeahrs ago it had a bug to access to the Database per Javascript over the website.
So they only need the Charname and they can see your Acc datas or can update some values -> gold etc...
So if he have some Java and SQL knowleage he can evtl. access to the database over the Webpage and update his Gold, Premsilk etc... (but they saw logs and banned him)
So if you know how does it work make new char, exchange gold to an other char, wait few days and if gold isn t away you are a rich ***** xD

@papapajo I'm pretty sure that you can't use javascript anymore to get into the gameworld database. it would be extermely stupid of joymax if you would be able to get into that database.
and I don't think that they have a database running at a "main pc" but just a database server. the "main pc" would likely be the one running the certification of the different servers and mabye with the globalmanager running on it (if they still have the same things as the sl.rar thinggy).

so or he actually got into the database server which I doubt or he just bought so much gold and told you that he got access to that server
It would also be stupid of this guy to only give him some ingame stuff. if you got access to main stuff you can steal the source codes/server files and just everything.
and accessing the database and changes stuff would also mean that he could just delete everything so he could bring an end to silkroad xD

Not possible all server's run on there own personal machines so he would need to get in to the server's machine not some magical main pc that controls everything.And even if there is a pc that show some server stuff it would be only on most basic lvl like you can only see files not open them or copy them+ than there are all the fire walls and protection stuff that joymax probly has.So IT'S JUST NOT POSSIBLE

It IS possible. But nobody with the skills is interested in hacking a 2nd class MMO database. They have different targets.

Currently joymax is not vulnerable to web attacks or server attacks. So stop speaking bullshit.

Scanning their ip server with nmap will reveal nothing significant, only their running os.
Trying to find vulnerable parameters in their site is also useless, since their database is acces type.

Well you can tell me whatever you want, but I know that Sony is by far the bigger company and was considered safe over several years and now...you know the story. I doubt Joymax has higher security measures than Sony had.

Why edit your char when you can just hack the game server & its database, build hes own Private Server and make money out of it.
