Away with the spammers

Hi,

first of all, let me start by introducing myself and the cause that i want to resolve.

I am Jakke, an 18 year old male/boy originaly from Belgium, lived in 4 countries, plays footbal. Not that you give a **** but whatever.

I have been a part of the community on epvp for almost 3 years now and have seen the spammer with their links, virusses, ads arise from out of nowhere.
And what i notice is that not much gets done about this. It takes a long while before a mod closes the thread and infracts the relating poster.

Now, I, and i'm sure many of you are sick of this. I have therefor applied to become a guardian for the Silkroad Online section. This in order to help the community have a better experience on the forums of silkroad.

I will continue my "quest", as you may call it, until all of the friggin spammers are gone and this forum is clean.

If you feel like i should be a guardian and you wish to see this section of E*pvp clean, then please vote on my guardian appliance post.



Even if not chosen, i will strive to make sure that I aid this community to my best!

Actually the silkroad section has been pretty clean lately. If you've really been in this forum for 3 years you should know what it looked like before.

You've applied already for Guardian and this thread is totally the wrong section to make advertising for it.

Next time just put something in your signature and don't post it here.

Nice introduction. Those spammers will never give up, .. and as far as what i have experienced here .. they even survive mods (which come and go pretty fast here o.O) .. but well .. good luck on your application for guardian anyway

True, it has been clean for a while, but the last 2-3 months the spam etc. has been rising and growing as never before. You should also know this.

I see that not many people note the signature and can't be bothered to click it. I just wanted to further explain here what/ and why i want to be guardian for since this was not possible in the appliance thread.
