Regarding Thepowerlevel.com WARNING!

Hello e*pvp mates ..

I want to cast a warning about thepowerlevel website since it's started suspicious activities lately (Noticeable) Including myself they tried to scam me and my friend got scammed as well ..

Here comes what happened with my friend :
He started the chat with the customer service, and told them that he wants 1b in ******** server , they said they can provide him, and after he sent the payment the ordered him to go to Jangan Blacksmith, after he went there
he found one of their characters pming him, follow me to guild storage
and then he dced, after 2 minutes of waiting (the customer service ordered him to wait too) it logged in again asking for the word said in the customer service chat (never had that before they just compare names) it's like a secret word
after he said it, he went back fast to blacksmith and found them trying to sell gold to themselves after creating similar name character (Char name was Aniline they created AniIine) but he spammed the customer fast and threatened her with a charge back and print screens etc....
she told him we are sorry we can't provide the gold right now come back later, and when he's back she told him you've got the gold (then he charged them back).

Another story that someone wanted to sell them gold, they told them login and buy 2x pills for 2b Jangan stable char name (Example) after that she told him no it's not our character you bought wrong stall and quit chat.
two days ago he started new chat with different name to see if she lies
he told her I want to sell 2b gold, she told him go to jangan stable and buy 2x pills from char name (Example .. same character name of the first time)

And finally myself when I wanted someone to charge me gold (because I don't have paypal) They created same character name as mine but with different letters (like Water ... VVater) but I got the gold after 30 minutes of struggling and insulting with them.


At last, I'm not making stories or fond of writing but It's a warning for all peeps here that use the website, I earn nothing if you buy or not from thepowerlevel.com but Less people scammed is what makes me happy

Posted on the 11th. The fact that they spoke to you ingame you shouldve known it wasnt TPL. TPL doesnt talk in game, they ask you to make a stall with junk and buy the junk off you.

The selling of gold is a different story. That sounds plausible that they'd say you purchased the UNI pills off the wrong person...Call them, they have a number on the contact us link.

Your point is totally clear, but what if they posted that notice after scamming good amount of gold? Like to push accusations away? and what about the same character name as my character I didn't open stall yet, I waited for their character but I found the character similar to my name already sitting there waiting just like me.

Well maybe a wise idea would take some screens or record while your doing deals ^_^ I've done purchases before with TPL and they've gone pretty smoothly, but I haven't bought gold from them in over a year so I'm not quite sure of their current state. But I'm sure they wouldn't risk their business just to scam 2B..

It is suspicious, about this point : imagine how many persons fell for them that's tons of gold already, who knows how much gold they have .. none ! but I am saying their moves are not being predictable.

I would recommend a website like or offgamers
but offgamers is ways expensive but I don't recommend Thepowerlevel.

It's not the point of the thread to get them banned of somewhere, it's just a general warning .. and as I said I gain/loose nothing from you guys buying/selling gold to tpl or to any other website, I've just posted the thread after alot of friends reported such similar acts of thepowerlevel

Sure, It's not like they are gonna scam everyone deals with them .. Old customers got a safe place, VIP buyers and some other customers
but most of the new comers I guess they fall.

Guys, believe him, TPL tried to scam me aswell.
When I bought 1B they kept me waiting for 2H.
I said its enough get me my gold now!
TPL: No no! Its our Proxy we cant login!

I agree with what LOLRKO says Old Customers dont risk get scammed.

I had 4 chars posted on their site for sale, one in particular was a sun 2hander lv 108FF.
One day i woke up to see that someone with the email adds me on msn.
So i accepted, the guy tells me that they found a buyer for the 2hander and that he needs my login info to give to the new owner cause he already payed. I tell'em wait just a sec, then i login to live chat and ask if its their email, they denied.

Told the guy to **** off, I'm on to him.

The question is: Where from did the guy know my email? I've given only TPL my mail to contact me if a buyer comes, and its not posted next to the char (so there is no way that the ''impostor'' could have known it, unless he is working with them).

My guess is that it really is possible that they fake mails, nicknames to scam people. Could be just an employee from them, or who knows, thing is that it happens.

i personally think it may be a former employee\current employee whos trying to extort clients for more money on the side.... Seeing as they get paid dirt already.

It's not possible to know your email by anyone if it's not posted next to the character (for example) so shows that they are trying to play games in another meaning they didn't loose anything (if you gave him the info they gain) and they would blame you (but you didn't and used their live chat and they denied and also they didn't loose anything just a failed try of scam)

It could be a possibility, but how would an employee use their former in game characters? If we put a possibility it's a former employee we have to put another possibility that they are playing dirty games too.
