[SELLING TOOLS] Server development tools
I decided my tools are no good on my harddrive, so I'm selling a bunch of them. The tools can be bought individually or in combinations, I will not negotiate the price of individual tools, I might give discounts on combinations of tools.
Most of this software has been used in multiple projects, meaning most bugs have been filtered out already, however, it might be wise to read the disclaimer.
Are you looking for a way to make your server different from others, this is what you need.
Disclaimer:
This software is provided as is. This means I, the creator of this software, disclaim any and all warranties. I expressly do not warrant that:
1.1 the software will meet your requirements;
1.2 the software will be free of bugs, errors, viruses or other defects;
1.3 any results, output, or data provided through or generated by the software will be accurate, up-to-date, complete or reliable;
1.4 the software will be compatible with third party software;
1.5 any errors in the software will be corrected.
Software list
Map editor
Description
The map editor allows you to place any bsr objects directly on the map. This has been used to add decorations to town, make event areas and place flags with the server name/logos on it. Reads all objects from Map/object.ifo.
Note: requires to be in a folder with an extracted Data.pk2 and extracted Map.pk2.
Features- Place any objects on the map (you can add your own to Map/object.ifo)
- Fly around with free cam in map sections
- DOES NOT HANDLE COLLISION
- Requires extracted Data and Map pk2
Price: €100
Trigger editor
Description
This tool connects to your database and lets you set up triggers. Triggers allow you to make your own instances, events, whatever you want. You can set up things like "If a player kills a mangnyang, spawn a mob and send a notice to all players". There are some examples of triggers in the database already, study those. This program was used to create all custom instances on Eltsur.
Features- Create your own events.
- Create your own instances.
- Saves directly to your database
- Not all actions in the program work ingame, the non-working ones don't have parameters.
- Be careful modifying existing triggers!
Price: €150
Mob spawn editor
Description
This tool was made to work with the trigger editor, but can be used without it too. It's very useful for setting/controlling spawn points for mobs, also lets you control drops and some basic mob stats. This also connects to your database and directly modifies it.
Features- Easy way to edit mob spawns
- Can edit spawn location/rate/aggresive/walk range/run range
- Also lets you control mob stats and drops
- Gets data from your database and directly saves to it
Price: €60
iSro to vSro converters
Description
As of lately iSro has been using a different format to save their objects in, to revert them back to a format vSro can read I made these two tools. One of them reverts all .bms files in it's folder and subfolders to the old format, the other one converts the bmt files (one at a time i'm afraid). Patching both allows you to use new format files from joymax, without having to rip it from another server first.
Features- Converts iSro format models to vSro (prevents crashing)
- Be the first with new iSro items.
Price: €40
Efp editor V2
Description
An improved version of . This version allows you to get a preview of the part you are editing, it has some handy gradient calculation functions and it allows you to set the scaling of every part of the EFP. For the preview you will have to open a particles.pk2, which it reads from directly (no exporting needed).
Features- Can change the colors of .efp files
- Can change the size of parts of .efp files
- Gives a preview from your pk2 file
- Has some handy calculation functions
Price: €20
Terrain texture editor
Description
This tool lets you change the textures that make up the terrain. The benefit of using this tool is that you can specifically modify just one section, instead of replacing one texture all over the map.
Features- Can change the textures of one section of terrain
- Can change textures to your own custom images
- Gives a neat preview (which is an approximation, not the exact ingame look)
Price: €30
MFO editor
Description
Allows for enabling/disabling certain map sections. This file tells the client what sections to load and which ones not to.
Features- Allows you to enable new parts of the map (needed for arabia), without enabling stuff you don't have (preventing a crash)
- Graphical interface
- Reads from your pk2 files, no need to extract anything except the files you want to edit.
- May take a while to load.
Price: €30
PM me if you're interested.

Most of it is pretty easy to understand, but I could set up a small tutorial for each tool if the need arises.

Isn't it enough with all the money you robbed people on your Venture 1 Venture 2 and Eltsur?
You trying to make some extra cash now before you leave.

I never robbed anybody of money, I was trying to make venture a success, but if nobody plays I can't do anything about it. I was not even involved in Eltsur, except that I made some stuff for them in return for payment.
In case you hadn't noticed I left sro a long time ago, I won't deny I'm trying to make some money on this, since I'm setting prices, but I could have let nobody use these tools ever. Think what you want, you're entitled to your own opinion.

Have you tried to put the edited NVM into data folder in the server-side to test if collision is added?

Thanks for moving, wasn't sure where to actually post this. I figured I'd post it in general because trading is more for ingame stuff.
The price of everything is included in the spoiler (so is the price of the converter)

nvm files support collision, you must edit both (from server and game navmesh), if you just edit the one from client, it wont work correctly, it will be a visual bug, but if you edit it at server, it will work correctly.
*Tested and working
I believe your tool only edit the .o2 files from map, not the nvms.. right?
