I've tried just about everything that I can think of to get some sort of server trick through the client or through packets for linking success, but to no avail.
If someone can do this, I would be impressed, and would love to know how.
One thing that does seem client sided, though, is the check to see if you are trying to socket lapis of the same type.
The warning occurs instantly, which means it is client side (because I am laggy

), but there may still be a server side check after that.
I haven't done much work on this.
Anyone find out for sure if the lapis type check is server side?
