Debating coming back....

Sooooo, weird post here, sorry if I'm not allowed to post something like this haha. I haven't played in a while.... the last thing I played was TMOS I think but earlier in TMOS's start. I kind of got tired of a lot of BS from server to server that most people who played for the past few years could probably acknowledge has gone on. Recently I've been kind of like.... hmmmm Shaiya sounds nice...... but I haven't played since I guess January (heck if I actually know when haha) and I'm just debating if I should get back in it, anyone feel like cluing me in as to how things are now, if the game has gotten massive updates, if servers are staying up for more than a couple weeks, if the people on servers have been playing nice and all, etc. Just how has Shaiya been, is it worth coming back or all the same?

I'm not saying that this post shouldn't have been moved but I'm just wondering why with a note of the fact that I'm not talking about Shaiya in general but specifically private servers. A lot of the problems that are concerning to me (really most of them) are not existent on OS from when I remember back. So I'm just wondering haha, that's all.

Oh well.. Haha this is the first time I see such a post, but it sure made me smile.
I don't know if you should come back, that's up to you. Personally if I could quit Shaiya once and forever, I'd do it without a eyeblink. But most of the players around got this kind of addiction to the game, and simply can't quit.

Things are getting worse and worse each day. Too much servers opening and closing after a week. 2/3 of the servers got no protection and are permanently down. Old servers with protection and good stuff are losing players and in general.. Shaiya isn't the same anymore. If you're planning on going back and you want a server that's gonna have 24/7 uptime - I'd suggest you Sanctuary, Throne, Exile, Astral, Olympus. There's a new server that seems to be interesting and cool(New skills and so on) - Shaiya Tactics, you could also try that one. And if you want something easier and only PvP - FreeShaiya (It's the server I'm currently playing on). More and more people are using hacks and cheats nowadays, but that can't be helped. Some of the Admins know how to protect their servers, but rest just.. Suck (No offence to anybody). But even if my post is negative, if you miss Shaiya and you want to come back - Then just do it. Like I've said before, I'm looking forward to see more old PvPers coming back to our community.

Hahaha, such bittersweet words. Is every server still BD/BG heavy with backup arch/hunt? Or people finally kind of diversifying? (doubtful). Another thing I wanted to know is if there are any servers that have given sins a bump up or not, because I think we all remember EP5 hitting and Trashing the little guys, EP 6 definitely didn't help haha :P
