Shaiya Packet editor question

K, so i tried to run Speed enchanter with OS after some time, and it just crashes the game, guess cause of EP6 and changes or what not. The message i get when i try to run is the one with "Shaiya has stopped working, working on the solution, etc"

So was wondering if someone can tell me if there's a way to run it with OS EP6, and what would have to be done in order for it to work.

u would need to unpack the game.exe in order to get the speed entchanter to work. Then u might still have the problem about the gameguard which could block that either so u would need to remove the GG from the game.exe aswell which works with hex.

K, i'll try to look up how to unpack game.exe then and see if i can manage to get it to work somehow.
But yeah, abut gameguard, wasn't it removed back in 2009 or something like that?

In my time with Shaiya (probably since 2010) I've never had to deal with GG. Seems pretty overkill to use both Themida and GameGuard. I don't even have the game on my computer so I can't really verify, maybe someone else can...

Well yeah, i have it, and back when GG was present, it used to run first GG, then let it load and verify you got no hacks or w/e, then the game runs. Since they removed it (least what i read back then on OS forums), it never appeared again.
But, i am a nub when it comes to computer knowledge, so i can't really say it's removed since i got no idea if somehow GG is still there just hidden lol

You could try attaching Cheat Engine or something similar to the game, should pop an error if GG indeed is running.

That said, even Themida checks fo debuggers, so make sure it's an actual GameGuard message, and not Themida.

Kk, thanks for the hints on what to do, helps.
Another question tho about unpacking game.exe. Kinda a total nub when it comes to this stuff, trying to find out how to do it searching forums here and there. Found one that tells me that i need to download PEiD v0.94 and Stripper v2.11, in order to decrypt and unpack the game.exe. Now, is that all i need to do in order to have unpacked game.exe or is there more to it, or did i completely mess up my search and stumbled on something completely useless for my case lol.
Sorry for the nub questions, this is like rocket science to me. And thx again for the replies.

Stripper is for unpacking ASProtect, it's of no use when we are dealing with Themida. Don't thnik there is any tools that will unpack Themida, you probably have do it manually using OllyDbg etc.

Ahh, yeah just read it that it's useless for Themida. Well, will do more research about Olly then and see how that works out.

since nexon took over the company and ep6 got published they added gameguard back in the game.exe which doesnt rly show up but is blocking hack requests and avoids using the ep6 game.exe with other data.sah´s then the new coded ep6 one.
