If you read the whole thread this isn't about that, is about a way to be able to see the ele your opponent is using at the time you attack them, nothing really to do with a skill

I don't believe this is possible. The sin/ranger skill has to be activated for the information to be sent to a person. And to activate the skill you have to verify with the server that you CAN activate the skill (like you ARE in fact a sin/ranger, and that its not on cooldown, and that you have even bought the skill).

Unless there is some other method, viewing a persons ele is not possible like this. However with new 70 tops being pre-eled, there miiight be a way to pull that information but getting the description information on a specific top then cutting out the **** (everything except the ele type), then outputting that to your screen somehow would be tedious work. Just learn to switch eles.

I agree with Shishka11, if they use preele tops..
lets say each pre'ele top got different ID's, so you could edit your client, and
"re-color" that Armors. For example Fire top = Red colored top etc
