before i start writing this thread as we all know most of the credits goes to :

and its only re-up thread with a little information from me

First of all we need the following programs :
- Credits goes to Lil pro hacker
- Credits goes to castor4878
- Credits goes to NIVIDIA
- Credits goes to NIVIDIA
- and for sure Photoshop credits goes to ADOBE
ok now we have everything we need and installed.
take note thats this is going to replace your old DDS file so its better if we make a backup first
First its better if we extract everything in folder with Lilpro' tool

its should be like this

now lets edit our own Armors
lets go to (Character) folder we will see there are 4 folders there
DeathEater & Elf & Human & Vile
am going to choose (Human) As a test
now inside Human Folder i prefer to use ShStudio to create MLX files
lets create empty files and make sure the size is : 0 bit <- create new document
now after we create it rename it as :
for detheater :
- demf.mlx [man/fighter] (male warrior/guardian)
- demr.mlx [man/ranger] (male hunter)
- dewf.mlx [woman/fighter](female warrior/guardian)
- dewr.mlx [woman/ranger] (female hunter)
for elves :
- elmm.mlx [man/mage] (male mage)
- elmr.mlx [man/ranger] (male ranger/archer)
- elwm.mlx [woman/mage] (female mage)
- elwr.mlx [woman/ranger] (female ranger/archer)
for humans :
- humf.mlx [man/fighter] (male fighter/defender)
- humm.mlx [man/mage] (male priest)
- huwf.mlx [woman/fighter] (female fighter/defender)
- huwm.mlx [woman/mage] (female priest)
for vails :
- vimm.mlx [man/mage] (male pagan/oracle)
- vimr.mlx [man/ranger] (male assassin)
- viwm.mlx [woman/mage] (female pagan/oracle)
- viwr.mlx [woman/ranger] (female assassin)

i created humf.mlx male f/d

now we are ready to edit our own armors
lets go inside dds folder
and start the Photoshop cs2
as we can see the dds folder is full of the dds files (Hair,face,helmet,armor,lower,boots,hands)
now lets drag any file inside photoshop
am going to use a simple file lets just say the christmas mask

now inside the Photoshop its better if we duplicate the layer right click on the layer and choose duplicate layer...

now there is 2 layers looks the same

lets start now editing
Note : the layer with luck icon its better if not edit anything on it
first of all lets delete the extra layers
am going to use the ( magic wand tool ) or ( Marquee Tool ) or ( Lasso Tool ) its easy to select and erase
-the selected with yellow ones

now i erased the unwanted from the layer
note : use the layer visibility ( the eye next to the layer ) to hide the lucked layer.

now lets paint our mask
there are many ways to paint but am going to teach you 2 ways choose the better one for you :
First :
use the variations
from [image] tap choose [Adjustment] and then in the last you will see [variations]

after you click in it you will see a window looks like this
note: make sure you are not selecting anything

we can see there are 2 windows Original and Current Pick
if we didn't like our new paint just click on original and it will undo the paint
i clicked 10 times on [more blue] and 2 times on [darker]

final resault :

ok this is our first way now lets go to the second way
Second :
from the right side on layers

we create a new empty layer by [ Ctrl+Shift+N] or choose the selected with yellow

now we have a new layer

am going to choose [ paint bucket tool ] [15]
choose the color from swatches tap

note there are many colors you could use the arrow in the top right side [17]
to see many choices i choose Mac OS ( am not sure if its available as default )[18]
i picked the orange one with [ R= 255 / G = 153 / B = 51 ]
now after painting the whole layer we see

lets play with it..
from the right side

in the top there is [Normal] and next to it [Opacity:]
play with those 2 and i choose [Lighten] and [71%]

now we must delete the unwanted things follow this :
1- select the duplicated layer
2- after that's choose [Select] tap then [load selection] and ok without doing anything

after you see the layer has been selected go back to select and choose
inverse or click [Shift+Ctrl+I]

selec the fully painted layer after thats and click [delete] with your keyboard

now look at the final resault :

now lets get back
after painting the mask we should save it
in the layers area right click in any layer and choose [merge visible]

click [Ctrl+S] or go to [File] tap then [save]
you will see window make sure you are not doing anything just change to [DXT3 ARGB 8 bpp | explicit alpha ]

now click on save
import the dds file into your data.sah and enjoy the game =)
