Hey Omega, I was wondering if you knew how to stop the "failed to connect to game server!!!" issue, other players can connect, but I can't on the same machine as the server. I have two exes, I give the one hexed with my IP to others and I keep the 127.0.0.1 for myself which gets me logging in fine, just can't get into the game?? Confused as to why this is, seeing as people on the other side of the world can play just fine.

so everything as far as I know is working just fine, but I got 1 problem.

I keep getting a directX 9 and graphics error both I know are installed. my laptop is an acer aspire with windows XP pro SP3 and nvidia graphics I've installed directX 9.0c

I've tried several times uninstalling and reinstalling but still get nothing.

Edit: after trying again all morning I remember something about the laptop, it actualy hasen't run any type of shaiya since Ep3 even then I had problems with directX and graphics. So I'm just going to install to a newer laptop.

i got everything going good i logged in created my character but then all of a sudden i get the error cant connect to server error 0 when i press start game and ive been looking for several days on how to fix it i did everything on the tutorials step by step perfectly everything went good but thats the error i get i tried making a new character but that didnt work please omega or anyone who can help i would rlly appreciate it

First off I want to say a big thanks to Omega for the awesome tut.

secondly I want to thank everyone who added there own input and tips for troubleshooting the mass problems and issues.

I got my server up and running after many errors and so patience prevailed

Hello there.
I'm sorry for being a bother, I'm still trying to figure out all this IP stuff, whenever I look at the posts in this thread it looks like jargon when it gets to things about IP and hex. >.<
My problem is, like some of the other problems I've seen, whenever I am able to login with the admin account and select the server, it freezes and then says the "cannot connect to server!!" error.
There's so many IPs it's overwhelming, I have no clue what I've done wrong..
I checked that PSM_Agent.exe and PSMServer_agent.exe are running, and they are, I've tried many different IPs...
If someone wouldn't mind helping it would be greatly appreciated.

I have the same problem... When I try to open Shaiya it don't respond untill i get Cannot connect to server Visit notice Board...

You need some ini changes . if you see whatismyipadress.com in ini files change them with 127.0.0.1 and then connect
