well i did the complete tutorial of Omega so i did those steps, i disabled the 2 things and i changed the ip of the client(only 1 right?) so someone else has any ideas?

Make sure u run SQL Server Management Studio Express as Administrator.

or close UAC user account control just google it

same as Shinjetko say. but you have to check you ini file too. game ini under client
ShaiyaServer\PSM_Client\Bin\Config

public ip is 127.0.0.1 if you run it local on your computer.

or if your running from another computer and using hamchi or something you can try disable your firewall then the public ip is your hamchi ip and not 127.0.0.1 or your server ip if you run it from a server..

This tutorial is to set up a Episode 4.5 Server to upgrade to EP5 you need to upgrade the database and edit your game.exe and ps_game.exe to fix skills and level caps there are post's on this forum showing you how to do all except the skills edit in Olly

I've got a problem, when you install server (UAC is off) it says: Failed to load resource file OSQL.rll. Can't find the file or such... What have I done wrong? I followed every step in the windows 7 video. Ty in advance

i've got a aerror while starting all services, Session doesnt connect ad i cant find the problem logs here

I have followed your video tutorials and have had only 1 problem so far. When i open the client, select my server and click OK, it gives me a "Failed to connect to game server" error. Could anyone please help me with this and thank you in advance

I know this has porbably been answered about 1000 times but i get an immediate disconnect once I log in, i have searched for several days and have tried just about everything possible... all INI's check out with loopback (127.0.0.1), vchk is off, nprotect is off, firewall is off, all green arrows, game works well, connects, creates characters, etc... but i get a disconnect 0 after a few minutes... my PS_game log is attached below 9other report no problems as far as i can tell, anyone able to point me in the right direction?

check to make sure firewall is off, check to make sure nprotect is off (Ggamegroups01> Game), check to make sure Vchk is off (Login01),
check C:\ShaiyaServer\SERVER\PSM_Client\Bin\Config\ps_ga me.ini (important)
and all other ini's in this directory for your IP addresses.
check
C:\ShaiyaServer\SERVER\PSM_Server\Config\ (all .ini's)
for ip address issues, open server control thingy and shutdown the service, in fact for good measure restart your machine and reopen/ restart the PSMServer_Mgr to make sure it takes affect.

I have checked all of the .ini files and unless I am misunderstanding which IP address to use, everything is correct. Now i have a new error that says "time over, failed to connect to the game server"
