Yes this is possible, I am using IIS myself. Here is how to install it:
1. Firstly, I am assuming you are using Windows Server. This guide is for Windows Server. If your using a different Windows edition, Its probably do-able with the IIS helper program (cant think of the name atm). The start will be different, but I'm sure the actual process is the same.
NOTE: You will need PHP on your machine for the website to function correctly.
Moving on...
2. Open Control Panel > Administrative Tools > IIS Manager.
If you don't have IIS Manager, You need to add it via Control Panel > Programs and Features > Turn Windows Features on or off > Check IIS and Web Server boxes and OK. (You may as well check the CGI boxes while here too.)
3. Inside IIS Manager, in the left pane (Connections), you will see 'Start Page', Expand your PC name under that and you will see 2 more options; 'Application Pools' and 'Sites'. Expand 'Sites'.
You should now see 'Default Web Site'. Right click it, go to Manage Website and click Stop. This is not needed.
4. Now, right click on 'Sites' and select 'Add Website'. Follow these next steps...
a. Site Name is the name you want to call the site. Usually this is your Shaiya game name.
b. Physical path. click the ... button and then choose where you want your server setup. Preferably under C: (no sub folders). Name the folder something similar to the Site Name, if not the same.
c. Click 'Connect As...' and setup a Specific User. This can be a username and password of your choice. Once done, click OK. And then 'Test Settings'. Test should be successful.
d. Under Binding, make sure the Type is http and Port is 80. Select your games IP from the drop down box on IP Address. I have not tried changing the port so unless you know what your doing, I suggest leaving it alone.
e. Host name I believe is the address people will use to view the site. I just used my IP address. Click OK.
5. Now your site should be in the connections pane under 'Sites'.
In the middle pane you will see '<Your Site Name> Home', lets do some configurations.
a. Double click 'Default Document'. Make sure your home page is listed.
(If your home page is index.php, make sure index.php is in this list.)
b. Lets now open 'MIME Types'. This is a highly Important step... SO DONT SKIP IT lol
You need to add 2 new MIME types to this list. without them, your updater will not connect to IIS and will keep showing e08
c. In the Right pane (Actions) click 'Add'.
The First File Name Extension is
MIME Type is
Click OK
d. The second File Name Extension is
MIME Type
Click OK
6. Right click your site from the Connections Pane > Manage Website > Restart. (Its instant, so you wont see it turn off and on. You also don't get a notification message. Don't manic, it HAS restarted).
7. Whatever folder you created earlier, That is your web server. That folder is where you will add your pages (Home, Drop List, Resurrection etc.), Your 'Shaiya' Folder containing both ini's (UpdateVersion and CONFIG) and PHP folder if you like. (Mine just sits in C
8. Go to your preferred browser and test your site.
