There are several protections, but most have already been decrypted so there really is no point in paying someone to protect your stuff if the next kid can decrypt it.
Check the Shaiya Trading section, I've seen people offer services there.

This is to prevent people who do not have the password or encryption algorithm to extract the data within the files.
