Aion weapon DDS issue(NOT THE USUAL)

I converted a bunch of beautiful weapons for my server from Aion, When i entered the game to test the whether they were correctly rotated etc i noticed every singel one had such a shine it was almost chrome ... As great as this looks on some weps it does loses an awful lot of detail.

Logic suggested i open them in PS with the nvidia plugin and turn off the alpha channel. Herein lies the issue. When opened they did not have an alpha channel. Any idea on how to remedy this issue

have you tried to add custom alpha channel ? this is because it ıs see just one layer on it if u make alpha channel ur problem will solve

Save the .dds file in DXT3 Explicit Alpha.
