steps:
1st go to any where you want to go just a dungeon
2nd charge your pet thanatos

I just downloaded the game again, and when I launch it np.
Then when I come in the char select room the background is black, still not a real problem since I can click everything.
Then I load my char, yes I am online but I am floating in the air, I see npc's but no ground its like everybody is just walking around in the air...
yes I restarted yes I rebooted computer, any other suggestions?

You need to run, unplug your modem, run up a hill, plug your modem back in. Sometimes you will be in the air. Also when your on a vehicle go over the water and log out while your in the vehicle. Wait 20 minutes log back in and you should be flying over the water.
