Yes ban would work to someone that has no knowledge of changing stuff around.
Its 2k18 and most people know how to change their IP, their HWID and whatever else he changed.
He used an exploit and that's on us, as soon as it's fixed server will run again.

Do I ban everyone else for potentially being toxic? That would be a lot of people banned... Also he was banned before this whole issue happened, clearly found his way back.. not sure how we could have stopped that either.

I mean if you don't even know how to prevent something like this from happening, why are you even opening a server? There's just one person on your team that seems to know what they are doing when it comes to server handling. And no, it's not Phreak.

Server was down for 6 hours for the maint to fix the issue. Problem solved. As if we don't know how to run our own ****. Thanks for your given but undervalue input.

First of all the server was not hacked or attacked but rather exploited. "If you don't even know how to prevent something like this" is just so random to say because how is it possible they would know about an exploit which they never heard about before? Players exist to play in the server but some of them take it a step further and find exploits. That's the time staff's part starts and it's up to them to fix it. After all, everything is secured and protected until someone manages to bypass that security. If you ever played any official games, you would know that by now, because I am pretty sure you have faced a cheater/exploiter at least once in those games. Are the companies which own these games responsible for the appearance of new exploits? Not really. Are they responsible for patching them? Definitely. This will keep happening forever.

My answer was about this. Being unable to keep someone away from the server/banned. Your entire speech about people finding exploits on games and all of that was entirely and utterly out of place and useless.
