is it posable to creat your own mounts i mean actyaly creat a totaly new mount say adding a rabbit kangaroo stuff like that something not in the game itself if so were exactly do you edit and what tools are recomended for the edits. i remember a gm from a pserver b4 mentioning he was getting a program that alowed him to creat his own mounts and maps stuff like that if any1 knows a good program for it can you share plzz cause id love ta be able to edit and creat my own stuff like that.

not shure exactly what that means if its a program or thats the difuculty of doing what i asked lol.

It's very hard to do, you will need alot of skill in database.

To my understanding, you will have to create the following for it.
-New models
-New textures
-DB entries
-A summon stone for it.
If you can do all that then you'll be set

My suggestion is to take an existing mount and edit from it.

ok so creating is alot of work and sence im not that great in db stuff editing existing seems best way ta go... now what exactly do i break down to edit the mounts as far as getting the textures models and so on and is it posable to edit existing textures and models in photoshop and imploment them as a new texture/model into the db/sdata field any help /steps in corect direction is greatly apresheated. perferably not hex editing as i get lost in that department totaly and compleatly lost i can edit ips and http links thats preatymuch it lo. i injoy deving the server but im a total nub at it doing nothing but trial and eror and by no means consider myself a dev even tho someone onec said dev = someone willing to go to no ends to get it fixed and shair there results i do all that but by nomeans consider myself a dev im a nub with high ambishions and quick learner at most stuff.



ADDED:: as far as adding the stuff into db and sdata i can do that veary easy i have edited existing stuff to creat my own lapis stuff like that i just dont understand exactly how to creat and were to imploment the tetures and models..

There is a way to add mounts without making them overwrite existing ones, but unfortunately that's not my area of expertise. I can only tell you how to go about editing them.

You need to extract them with the first.
I do believe you can find your mounts in Vehicle -> DDS after you've loaded your .sah to the tool. I can't name right off the top of my head which file corresponds to which mount, but they are in order from the lvl 40 NPC mount to the 58 UM mount and the "special" mounts such as the snowboards and reindeer (if you have files ending in 09, it's an alternate coloring of the 58 mount).
They're also arranged according to race: Death Eater, Elf, Human, Vail.


They can be edited in Photoshop, but you will need to install before Photoshop will support the image format.

From there, edit however you see fit and remember to save with alpha settings then re-import them to the saf with the data tool.

TY klaries i will look into what you have said and give it a go see what i *** up with on my test server. as i said above i love editing and to me trial and eror is the only realway to learn. you can sit and tell me step by step what needs to be done but unless your willing to test what you say with trial and error you will never get the hange of it. and now that you have atleast pointed me into the corect direction on what i wish ta do its trial time ill post any working compleations i *** up with and hopefuly find a desently easy way to creat a compleat mount from scratch well editing curent to look totaly difrent and implomenting totaly new so that u have notonly the new edited stuff ta look like what u want but also the original stuff also.. i have set forth a goal for my self in hopes to acomplish a way to destroy anyhope of sonov or chirock calling copyrights at pservers.. yes we may at first (barrow a desighn) but in the end it is compleatly original and our own creation they own rights to said items mob aperance yada yada yada but if we modify them to something totaly difrent they have no right to it but us as devs then develope the copyright to it.basicaly in short barrow and idea and improve it to our own creation not just mask its aperance to show a difrent color but turn a horse to a cat and its nolonger theres it is yours.

lol ac1dtab shaiya is IP ( intellectual property) of Choi Rock Games no matter how much you modify the appearance of the mounts and what not. your still using the server files.... you dont get into trouble for the client its under the GNU GPL licensce. so you can modify the client all you want. its the server files you get into trouble for running
