*request* Dark panic fix.

Right now dark panics "effect" is just normal darkness which is wrong.

Darkness is cured by pots and such and does not work on bosses.

Dark panic is NOT suppose to be just darkness, it's effect is suppose to be incurable with pots and suppose to work on bosses.

Read this post for more information read post number 3.


the client episode is 4, so how do you change the effect of dark panic from the WRONG darkness abnormal condition to the right incurable 15 second one?

If you have the correct value for the "real" dark panic, just go to PS_GameDefs.dbo.Skills and change it there under typedetail. It takes a while to find the "real" ID. Perhaps someone is nice enough to share a list? If i remember correctly, 88 increases your hp, mp and sp by x each second for 8 seconds (x is changable under addhp addmp and addsp values).

I don't know if this change the dispellable sector, that might be put in another table. Need verification on this.

it has the wrong debuff alltogether, it's not suppose to be darkness, it's suppose to be a debuff that stops attacking for 15 seconds and cannot be potted and works on bosses

I think your GMs made this change themselves, dunno if it was on purpose or not though. If they got their server files from ElitePvPers here and didn't fiddle with it, nothing should be different about the skill.
The server I tested it on got the server files from here - Dark Panic works perfectly. I suggest you ask your GMs what they changed so the people here know what they're working with as opposed to grasping at straws.

Also, Dark Panic never existed before ep4 so the episode doesn't really matter...it's not like people can look at it from ep3 and compare since it didn't exist then.

If they wanted to fix it could he just replace that dark panic file with the correct one? or is that not how it works

Not how it works. The change is in the DB- you need to change the skill type and it will work fine. It is finding the right type that is the problem
