Welcome to Battle for Dwater (
BfDW)! For most of you reading this you may know a little of the background behind this private SHAlYA server, but as the doors are now open we want to let everyone see the big picture.
What is BfDW about...
We are currently a team of six members, who love all the things SHAlYA represents, save how most other servers have destroyed it by greed, PvP imbalance, or just plain community neglect. We wanted a private server where PvP balance is priority number one and the size of your wallet doesn’t equal superiority. We want to support the community and utilize your feedback to improve and progress
BfDW into a premier SHAlYA private server.
How we pay the bills...
We have to give all the credit to Evo here. They had a terrific fair value Item Mall / donations setup, which we modeled our Dwater Donations (DwD) system after. We have adjusted costs of some more commonly needed items making them more desirable and convenient for those who dislike extensive farming to acquire the gold to buy from the underground market merchant.
What’s different about BfDW...
As we are focused on balanced PvP,
you won’t find any Nos, Lapisia, or Sonic2, Flash2, and Ele2 lapis, which we believe imbalances PvP and restricts true skill in battle.

What are we getting out of it...
We’re not doing it for the money like other private servers. We are doing this because we love the game and the people. We hope to cover our server maintenance and support costs each month. If there’s anything left over... pizza n’ beer. Hazzah!
Social / Community Goals...
Laughter... in all things. We all want to have fun. We even created a spam forum just for the sake of silliness. Beyond that, we want to support the BfDW community as much as possible through direct communication and feedback channels. If we are to succeed, it will be with the help of everyone involved.

[GM]Sober - Despite rarely living up to his name, his commitment to the players both in game and forums is pure win. Son Of a Bitch Everything’s Real... love it!

[GM]PierceMe - Every superhero team needs it’s beautiful vixen. Thankfully X-men auditions were closed so we got her. With red bull in hand she fully invests herself to the people and the cause.

[GM]Freya - They say behind every man is a good woman. She is not only the driving force behind our lead tech, but a strong voice for the community.

[GM]Tipsy - Besides living up to his name... Tipsy is a PvP fanatic both in game and RL. He once Deadly Strike’d a woman who tried to KS him in an express checkout line of a grocery store. You can’t put a price on this kinda level of Enthusiasm.

[GM]Megaslayer - Older than dirt with a vocabulary designed to make you think he’s twice as smart as he actually is... our Forum Moderator, Game Ambassador Overlord, and social media wannabe.
