Taco, I too have come to a great disappointment with many of these servers. As a result I am releasing what was my own private toy for public use.
Within a week or so I will be launching Shaiya rEvolution. You wont get much closer to Evolution than this...and for damned good reason. I'll leave it at that for now.
Tonight, I am setting up a page listing features and such the new server already has implemented and some to be added before launch. Keep an eye out for it. I hope to see many a former Evo grace my new server, and maybe we can keep it alive.
PS: It feels odd referring to another as Taco as I was once referred to as the same
Im working on an evo-like server.
Just a few more weeks because im alone at all.
But i believe it will be exactly what you (and many others) are still looking for.
Theese new servers now are just temporary **** .. they all will go offline in next weeks, and for sure after i've opened mine

if your looking for any GMs im a great one i know loads about SQL and SData i can get the server to be just like evo
well we got more than 5 pservers and you dont like any of them.. i think you can never get a pserver like you are thinkin of!!
the problem is that not everyone is in it for the quick levles. the quick gain. the instant power with minimal effort. THAT is where these other servers fail. Aside from poor moderation, crying 12 year olds, buggy systems, unstable setups...i can go all night.

and euro shaiya is a real joke-.- toon is lv70 instantly, cant read skill texts and my gear is in my hands via 2 web clicks.. no ty
as for Pandora.. it WAS nice.. till the new admins decided to give special items to donaters, which suddenly started critting me 5k+ crit damage in pvp while i was busy finding a good build for my hunter
perfect shaiya is simply a bug itself.. crappy item mall and not updated

Look dude, i know what are you talking about but for now that's the best we got. The greatest Shaiya private server ever was Evolution high rate but it is dead and gone - that's why i quit Shaiya.
And about Pandora..that's a different story. Better stop QQ-ing and try Lineage II :P.
I have played on almost every p-server out or was out.
And yes Evo was by far the better I have played on.
Every server has its good spots and bad spots.
With some more bad then good.
I am not going to sit here and list them all.
But lets just say this.
I quit playing on all the current servers except for Insane.
And yes even Insane has its issues, but so far the good parts are a little more then the bad.
Note: I havn't tried pandora yet since the registration link is messed up - as of 12 May 2010.
forget Pandora, its worse than US because without donating real money you get NOTHING really usefull, the obtainable stuff there are simple legends, lv4/5 lapis, some Nostrums and regular Lapisia.
with those you can be good... but there is alot MORE to make you BETTER
like godess, lv59 stuff, lv6 & 7 (debuff) lapis, rec runes, special Noss (KO, XTs, lv3)
and those drop in Pandora with a 1% or less rate from strong Mobs.
So it all ended up with Donaters pwning the server with their money
the reason its worse than US is that those WHO donate, get all with 100%.. enchants, links
