WHY - deffender - tanks ?!

I am a XXXXXX shaiya player . The server was created few months ago because the old one died . The pvp is small and the classes are unbalanced.
my question is WHY THE HELL WOULD U MAKE DEFFENDERS TANKS WHEN U GET MAXIMUM OF 2 TABS IN A DAILY PVP WITH 2 HEALERS ?!
Could someone explain me this because im getting angry just my thinking about it. You cant kill archers/mages unless they are braindead and stay on one palce with wrong ele like dummies , u cant kill warriors and fighters cuz they deal more damage even if u focus on BD build and u hit like ****.., u cant kill assasins cuz they have way too much dex for you, and even if u dont link much rec u feel recy as ****, and theres no point even of making a deffender when the only thing u can do is attack a healer..why the **** would somebody ruin deffenders like that..come on man...You just dont have choice u are either full tank or u are complete ****..why would someone ever do that to deffenders...the last time they were good as full tanks was 10 years ago in OS..it makes me sad..knowing how powerful a good linked, smart deffender can be...if anyone wanna discuss this in private with more details of stats/lapises/server or what so ever feel free to leave me a private message, thank you.

I did, i even talked with the GO in skype but he is stubborn and he thinks that if u want to kill u can just mage a fighter and that deffenders are meant to be tanky..im just angry becauwe have no other choice..if someone wants to be full tank ok..be one but if u dont u should have an option...its just worth being deffender. But i really love this class..

Deffenders were originaly meant to be tanky in OS where the pvp was much bigger and there was a class balance, also OS was the place where every class had its role. If you manage to convince me that in THIS SPECIFIC case deffenders better be tanky than be played as BD...whats even the point of tanks when there are barely any healers in daily pvp ?

Well, in your case you should not play defenders at all, I can't convince you that defenders better be tanky than be played as BD because I don't even know what's the server you're playing on.

You dont need to know the name of the server, u need to know the actual stuff that is going on, and i believe i gave you more than enough information to make a proper decision

Def/Gua is a support classe, if u really want be a slayer just take a damage dealer.
And the shaiya pvp is massive so he isn't perfect as well

Battle tank is just an otherwise to play him than the originally supposed to be "Tank"

I understand you very much, my point of view was that with the current changes this class is only good for being tank, what i mean by that - i mean that even if u are maxed deffender with good link you will not be nowhere near any fighter,archer or assasin. In the past it used to be good for BD and i actually pretty enjoyed it.

That's the problem nowdays, every class wants to be a fighter-like. Kill kill kill and hard-die. And the game isn't supposed to be like that.

So devs have to edit skills/stats to make all classes 'happy killers' and it just create unbalance and boreness 'cause every class plays the same.

yeah u are right..a server who get 30 people on daily and has 2 healers in pvp deffinately needs tank to disturb those healers..i mean..what could we do without them..

If its server that is ep4.5++ then even a fully rec tank can do damage maybe not kill the character but still. Think about how much of a difference ele lv2 makes when u hit on right ele with lapisa infused. Im saying this from experience and not just BSing my way in because I used to play as a full rec tank (Yes I was that person who you would hate). Anyways if you're quick enough with ele switching then you can do pretty decent damage because most of the skills that defs have that are AOE are % based not Dex based so you would hit regardless of the persons dex. Like for example "darkness lv3 has 75% of hitting the target or certain skill had 100% chance to hit." SO my point is Rec based tanks on server that have ele lv2+lapisa infused can do actual damage and can be very pesky if you're quick enough with ele switching. I hope I answered ur question lol or maybe I didn't understand it. Anyways thats my 2 cents
