Hello,
I maybe got interesting think about this bcs i play OS and this is server going to down. So what about make private server but same to old Shaiya.
1) lvl 70
2)same exp how old Shaiya OS no 10x only exp stone or like RPC
3)max lapis lvl 7
4)max gear conflict but i think get others armors and weapons but *** only skins same atack same stats
5) without max OJ
6)x1kill no more WBR ( only events can be x2)
7) all farmable
8)old skills
9)no costumes or pets or anything this ....
10) this is last i think if need to make game interesing just make new map or new bosses but not .....king invasion robots or shi... like this so if any will make this server i will help him or i will play this server asswell
PS: Shaiya still got many player what need to play but are many PS where play 70 or 80 or 100 or more players... Oficial server is sh... but if anyone make good realy good server with good team you can get on server more then 1000 peoples

I doubt there will be any people who level on a sv with x1 EXP. I played a lot of x20, x25, x50 EXP servers and they already took so long. You really think that people want to level on a pserver for 3 weeks before even being able to start farming? Naaa

i think they did .... back to old times when you must realy exp long but if you did you felling good in many games asswell on offical servers must exp so hard and i think exp stone and RPC are still good and in old shaiya was

and one mistake is on Shaiya OS and its to much money you must spend for maxed set if any server realy good server got about 400-500 players must going to micro economy bcs many players will buy if for 10 euro will get more so you will asking your self 10 euro its nothing and this say many of them and with 500 players if buy any donate for 10 euro so you got 5000 euro easly. in Shaiya OS must spend 1000 euro for all tiers cca and it much for 90% peoples who arent rich

make the exp rate very low and make a very hard farming system ok ?

also make kill rate x1 permanent and add the system of 32 ranks if u want to have 1000+ ppls on ur server ok ?

i say only if all from private servers was on one one server got this ppls so why will be on one server 70 on second 200 if we can play on one server with many pvp and fun together

Its easy, we had already one good server some time ago, called Shaiya Evolution, it was fair, the grind was fun, you could drop everything ingame and donate if you dont have time to farm but u won't get uber gear instant. They closed it coz they had to buy a License and its really expensive. The idea is nice, i would love to make such a server but the people will flame about the exp rate, low drop rate etc etc etc, ofc you can't make such a server without a couple of bugs, but the player these days want perfection, they want their own desires to be fullfilled, its impossible to open a shaiya server today that suits all their wishes.
I've many good ideas and I worked on some with a good friend, but in the end, the server was not perfectly protected and thats why haters came and hacked it. We had over 100 Player from the first day and it was a German server, if we had created a English Server, we would have far more. But well, as I said, its nearly impossible these days and thats sad..

Yea true all is about peoples. But if you know how many private servers are and how many peoples playing on them. If all GM with private servers cant talking about one server for all they will got many players and money to and we got many funs.

But maybe exp rate like real shaiya is too low ?
Just a low rate ~5-10 maybe 15% it would be great

Actually, this episode is not that good. I'll enjoy more a 4.5 episode with a low rate like x5 exp rate than a 5.4.

Ep.5.4 is good but is too long and hard to get any stuff
Pref 4.5 Azu/Stigma Mirage/Haruhion, Fantasma/Cloron, Kimu and so on
It's so much better to farm this

I think the best is
4.5 = Best for classic
5.4 = For instant level with good itemmall

What about a server like you said but ep4.5 ? Since ep5 is not the best for a classic.

Shaiya Evolution was not closed due to licencing, they never got mail from Aeria Games.
The treatening mail they showed was fake, an excuse to close the server and run away with the money.

But yes, Shaiya Evolution was a great OS alternative back in the day. Unfortunately, as long as OS is still up and running, I don't see legacy servers getting populated.

The private server community is by far different than the OS community. We had a bunch of legacy servers before and all of them were abandoned because the community is used to instant or high rate servers.

I'd be the first to play a legacy server with default rates, except with buyable AP Items, but in order for legacy to work, as I see it, it required the following:
- the official server to shut down the increase the demand for "the real thing"
- a high playerbase, because the game is all about teamwork (grinding, pvp, boss raids), soloing only gets you that far

People enjoy all pvp zones, especially the lower ones since gear requirements arent that high to be able to compete. 15/30 PvP is basically non-existant in Private Servers. If there is any, it is not even near the PvP we used to have on OS.

There are also guild rivalries to count in that made the game enjoyable for many people. A whole server nowadays cannot populate the amount of people what a decent end game guild used to have in OS.

We are getting back to a topic that has been brought up countless times throughout the years: Open less servers, but more good ones.

If the remaining community wasn't too spread into countless servers and merged into a handful of servers, we could have an OS-like experience again, but it would be too much to ask for people to stop opening servers and close down their low populated ones to do the community a favor. Everyone has the "right" (although not legal) to get into the private server market with their own ideas and visions.

I just hope that the remaining OS players will look at private servers when OS closes. And I heard that should be very soon.
