Automatic backup for database

Create an automatic backup is quite easy

1-= Create a folder on the root drive "C" - with the name "AutoBackup"

2-= Open a notebook and write the following script

BACKUP DATABASE PS_UserData TO DISK = 'c:\AutoBackUp\PS_UserData.bak'
BACKUP DATABASE PS_Billing TO DISK = 'c:\AutoBackUp\PS_Billing.bak'
BACKUP DATABASE PS_GameDefs TO DISK = 'c:\AutoBackUp\PS_GameDefs.bak'
BACKUP DATABASE PS_GameData TO DISK = 'c:\AutoBackUp\PS_GameData.bak'
BACKUP DATABASE PS_GameLog TO DISK = 'c:\AutoBackUp\PS_GameLog'
go

3-= Save the script with the name of backup.sql (inside the folder we created in the root of the drive "C")

4-= Open another notepad and type the following script

sqlcmd -i C:\AutoBackUp\backup.sql

5-= Save the script with the name of backup.bat (inside the folder we created in the root of the drive "C")

Now we just have to go to task scheduler

create a new task to run the .bat file

the number of times you want

every week - every day - every hour

the number of times depends on you

The SQL itself create backup. Just use only developer version. I find it easier
