I understand that in a quote, her response to the feedback of [GM]Bondax seems very inappropriate, but just like she previously stated, no brushes were used in the entire interface, which proves that the feedback is simply not valid.

I do agree with you that learning from others is not called stealing, at least not in this case. My guess is Agony meant something else but didn't use the right words for it.

Now onto the Invasion part. *snaps fingers*

Invasion falling apart was my fault and my fault alone. It all started at the end of June, when I announced the maintenance that happened in the first days of August. That alone drove a few players away, them telling us that they will just play other servers and return when everything is ready. August was a bad month, things didn't go as planned, me and Isabella had to leave for a week on a holiday that was planned a long time before any of that. We finally picked back up at the end of August, but by that time we had already lost half our population. The decision to shut the server down was mine, in spite of the fact that most of the staff team (Agony included) and players insisted I kept the server running.

Yes, Agony does like to push her ideas to be implemented, but you can be sure that nothing was implemented unless I agreed to it. An example would be the Cantabilian pvp zone, which had a lot of drama revolving around it. Agony was the number 1 supporter of having kills shared with Lv30 characters as well, along with 80% of the server. I went ahead and didn't share them, and on top of that fully sandboxed Cantabilian.

In spite of the What happens in the staff chat stays in the staff chat rule, you may ask former Invasion staff members about how things worked. I am what you could call a nice dictator. I'm gonna be a democrat until I don't like what's going on, and at that point I'm gonna have things go my way, no matter what anyone says.

What Agony does is she fights to the bone for what she believes would be right or for what she wants to see (even if it's not always right). The fact that others can't fight like her doesn't make her a kid. Wanna see kids ? Keep checking the Shaiya section of elitepvpers, I expose them all.

I don't know who you are and what you know about Agony and Invasion, but I'm assuming you're talking based on the public opinion about Agony. I'm sure if you guys just sat down and talked you'd realize that she's not as bad as some people claim she is.

A bunch of kids... I thought is a interface preview not a particular server concerns...
The UI is nice but you should edit the placeholders for Inventory tho as they not matching and looks really ugly the grey in between dark brown and gold... but the particular server that was designed for, is not worthing it, just some show off kids, no offence.

Nubness pretty much cleared out everything I had to say, but like he said.. I fight for what I believe in and when ever I think some of my ideas are going to be a good feature, I push until the end. You are right about one thing. If I believe that something is right, I will push until the end to make people see it. I do claim to have education and not to have missed my first 7 years. I can also tell you that I'm very emotional person and that's the reason for me to discuss everything until the end. If you want the honest truth, I do take all that negative feedback to heart. But in all of it... I never saw a point. Not once.

It's pretty much obvious, even in this thread. But do you honestly think that I won't accept another person's opinion if it's actually a valid one? I've been around this community long enough to know that it's full of jealousy, hatred and negativity. It all started when servers were being shut down because of the famous "DDoS attacks" , if we could put it that way , that left a permanent mark on some people. They wanted to payback and at some point, our community was being ruled by those who were feared because of their "power".
People started hating on each other. When I joined the Private Server Community after giving up on OS, I was surprised. Honestly. The only kind of dislike I knew was towards a hunter in 1-15, Proelium, Etain. Not because he was a bad person or anything, just because he was a very skilled player. And thinking about it now, it wasn't even dislike, it was jealousy because I wasn't as good as him.

Then I saw our P-Server Community. People hating on each other because they were being killed in PvP. Because they didn't like a joke somebody made. Because someone else got a drop and not them. And as ridiculous as this sounds, this is all actual cases I've witnessed. And what happened to me a few days ago - A faction quitting PvP because their afk leader was killed in a PvP zone. While being tabbed on skype. So tell me... Don't we overreact? Don't we hate on each other, judging by the rumors we've heard? Don't we dislike people just because they made one comment that doesn't seem to fit our opinion?

I'm not saying I'm a saint either, I've had my moments as well. Mostly based on my emotional character. For example, on Invasion every single day, they were making fun of a lady named Lilith. I don't know her in person. Yet I laughed along with them. Now when I think about it, I don't think it is cool to mock her like that just because of something she did. I believe we all do mistakes and one of mine was laughing along with the rest at her mistake. I don't know, maybe it made her feel bad? No one likes being mocked.

But this isn't only about our community anymore, our entire world is full of hatred. Something I'll never understand. People lie when it's so much easier to tell the truth. People dislike somebody just because that somebody's hairstyle isn't cool in their eyes. What can I say? Now that's a mess. Our world is.

But I got off-topic... My apology. This is an interface thread in a forum related to a MMORPG game.

You can hate on me as much as you want, like I said... That's your right. I'd ask you to restrict yourself from saying things that aren't true, such as Invasion coming to an end because of me, but that's also your right to say if you believe it. See, I can't force you to think anything else. I can defend myself, sure... I can tell you that you're wrong, but how many people out there are going to admit that they are wrong after losing an argument? Not many.

I have realized that long time ago. You say that thinking I don't accept other people's opinions, I can tell you, you're making a mistake here. But since I mentioned above that I'm into intense philosophy lately... Do you know how philosophy starts? Well, a week ago I didn't know either. It starts with doubt. In the beginning it's main weapon is to teach you to doubt everything you see and hear. Not to believe anything. Of course, things change later on, but I believe that this is pretty accurate.

The guy who wears the same clothes every single day and you laugh at, he works at three places just to afford paying the treatment to his sick mother?

Not everything is as you see it. And that's exactly what society is nowadays. We hate, we laugh at people. We don't try to understand them, it's in our brain to avoid anything that isn't like us or we don't have the use of.

And once again, I went off-topic. Another apology.

My point to all of this is, you judge me. You don't know the facts, neither the truth (which nubness cleared out) yet you came here judging me.

About the interface,

Thank you for saying it's decent. I appreciate it. But I still don't understand about the brushes, maybe you could explain me? How a brush is supposed to make the text stand out more? I use brushes when I don't want to draw an element on my own or think that my painting needs some extra elements. I really don't see how I could use the brushes to make the text stand out more. And before you respond to this saying that I'm trying to attack you or something, chill. I am just asking here, maybe there's something I don't know about the brushes that you could point out for me. That'd improve my skills and I'd be thankful.

About the "dodge here and there" , well... I sort of agree. But I wouldn't use it on my interface because the dodge tool ruins the quality. And I don't like that.

The second looks correct to me, just try some gold finishing in their boxes left and right hand side where is supposed to be a lighter color.

Will do once I'm home. I guess I didn't pay much attention to it, because those fields will be covered by the equipped armors/weapons/accessories. Thank you!

There is a saying... if you do something, do it right or don't do it at all :P
That's the point coz not everybody will do so, as some people (like me) likes while staying in Auction House to have their gear off and check into their inventory, then that wouldn't be a nice thing to see.

The very small things, insignificant for some maybe from some perspectives can have a very huge impact in the whole thing. I tell you from the design point of view as well as user point of view.

@ The inventory equipment change, I much prefer the 2nd version of that "update" it definitely suits it more than the original grey version. I do think it's a bit trivial to spend a lot of time on this section of interface though because as you said, it will be covered by equipment anyway. Not to say that it could be fugly because it will be covered, but more to say the original would suffice anyway.

I really like the elemental icons too, maybe except the wind icon because for me the colour doesn't represent what I'd refer to as "wind." I think the border you used for the ele icons would make the class icons look a lot better too. I'd just love to see the rest of the interface in action in-game honestly :3
