Faction Interchange Armor?

I'm new to this and haven't been able to find a thread on the subject yet... so I was wondering if it is possible to apply, say a sin set to a ranger/archer? I've attempted swapping out the .3dc and .dds files and started up a game, but it looks like an angry polygon for the most part. Any thoughts?

wrong its actually not possible. There is just sometimes little files like hairs or stuff like that which is partly useable for other classes aswell but in the main idea this is not possible.

well it works but wont look well it will look definatly strange and fcked up..

Been experimenting on that actually - cross faction stuff other than some hair doesnt really work, so far i've noticed:
male elf hair/helmets looking okish on human females,
human fighter armor looks ok on priests (chcked only 1 tho so cant be sure) but is too short on arms since fighters have long gloves
experimented also with alt/mlt files but only thing you can get from it is swapping 1 class into looking like another completely, so no point in it either

Lemme know if anyone knows smth more please, it can turn out really interesting sometimes making the game more varied, but it's time consuming and the possibilities are endless so way too much for one person lol

I've been able to give mages the arch/ranger gear and vice versa. So far so good. I've also put the sin tier 14 helm on a mage, it's slightly too big on the front (sits low on her face) but looks good from the back. TBC!

As much as I tested some of the EP5+ Armors are able to be switched but like Arielle told & your SS shows it don't match perfect.
But all files EP4 or older I tried got totaly bugged. Idk why but it seems they changed something at the 3D files at EP5+
