Problems With Getting Server Running

Hello. I am using the release of EP6 Server files, I have correct credentials in my configuration; I have all the services installed, but it's just my session which goes from the Green Arrow back to pause; and I am 100% certain (I Have even re-typed the password into the encryption software provided)

But it just wont run! Could anyone shed some light on this Matter.

I am using MSSQL 2008 R2 Server with 2012 Server management Studio.

go to your sql find ps_gamedef11 and change to ps_gamedef

or change the ps_game.exe

As far as I know this usually means the service can not connect to the database. Recheck if your password and username is entered correctly in the configuration files (\PSM_Client\Bin\Config). You might have to create a new login or you could simply change the username to 'sa' instead of 'Shaiya' in those files. Check if the credentials are correct by opening SQL Server Management Studio and logging in with the credentials you typed in the configuration files.

My table names are all correct, there is nothing like gamedef11

check ur npcquest.sdata if it is decrypted in the server files.

How would I go about doing that?

there are different way best way to do it via python ( look for the tut about that here in epvpers) or use shaiya data file tool from lph which u will find here in epvpers aswell.

I have the server running, it's all on green arrows.. the problem is, that i'm using game.exe found here:




for this client:




But it is still connecting to aeria games for patches.. What can I do for a local game.exe?

You will need to change the IP of your game.exe and your updater.exe to your local IP address. For instance if you want the server to run locally only you would need to change the IP to 127.0.0.1. There are guides on how to do this here on epvpers if you do a search or scroll through the Development and Release sections you can't miss them.

I have done the game.exe, but the updater.exe I have no found the IP nor any tuts on epvp

This took like 1 minute to find using the search:
