It is not necessary to make a virtual drive to run a Shaiya server. You can place the server files on C:\ and it will work just fine. The only reason you would need to create a virtual drive is if you wanted to keep the server separate from your normal drive. However if you want to keep the server separate it is far easier to download a copy of Windows Server 2008, install it inside a Virtual Machine and then setup your Local Server on the Virtual Machine.

Yes i no what u mean , but i only don't want to do that because i have physical
documents an other stuff that i don't want to be left exposed to my server, I have downloaded all that is necessary to run it but and set up my sql server an database , all is left to do is make a separate hard-drive D: to keep server files and database on away from my own stuff and change PSM_Server and Client Ini files then i am done , But like i said i want it to be separate away from my own programs an files so its more secure.

Regards..

I understand completely man, I like to keep things separate as well. It is far simpler though to download something like VMware player and install your server inside a virtual machine. That way it is 100% separate from your personal files, and if something messes up you can start over more easily. I will include links for the vmware player below:

If you need any help setting it up just let me know and I'll see what I can do to help.

I am using Oracle virtual box already an made a virtual PC an set it
up with all service packs an everything to run it that's not a problem that all
done all what i left to do is set up a D: drive to put all my files in, Then i can install PSM i have the drive set , But when i go to cmd an type subst D: C:\SHAIYA_SERVER it does not make the drive as i would see it if i checked my computer, So what i need is either help fixing this issue or a virtual hard drive software to use to store an run PSM

If your local server is already set up inside a virtual machine then there is no need to setup a virtual drive. Just put it on C:\ and save yourself the trouble of messing up partitions and having to format to fix them. Virtual Machines are already separate from your Host machine.
