some db´s just go with a special sql version idk which files u use and from who if u would post that we may could help u more. i had that prob aswell and had to upgrade my 2008r2 to 2012.

Not really a "special" one, they can run on the version in which they were created, or later, yet that is just an assumption as we are not been given the actual error code; as this could be even a problem with the credentials of the user that is being used to attach the database files, as well as many other common issues.
