EP6 Map.ini
Any Chance someone has 1 they can upload here would be great or can someone write down wat i need to do. i hav got maps 75-79.
But i dont hav 71-74 any reason guys?
if any 1 knows the location of the portals to the new maps can u let me know thnx
If any1 can tell me the spawn point coordinates for these spots to initiate into the map.ini i can upload a map.ini for others workin on the ep6 maps tnx

thanks but that file dont have the map.ini
it givs the coordinates to move/town/spawn points.
in that post there is some text on wat to edit ur map.ini but it dont contain the coordinates for move/town/spawn points.

Basically that information is something you can do yourself, that will make it unique by setting the spawn points where you want them to be, it is never bad to experiment on this kind of things

thanks for that atm we tryin to get into the maps for some reason we patched it but my client wont update it which is no portals around on my client to get into the maps and /cmove dont work.
we got it to update but there still no portals both svmaps and wld were put in but no portals are in ki iris/pr/vr

Why wouldn't /cmove work if you have added the maps, the number of the maps is something you selected when adding them, so you shouldn't have any issues moving unless you get an sgraphic error

well wen we move we get ported the the closed town on the map we in we have fouind a map.ini for the maps 71-74 which i dont think are ep 6 maps mayb caput/dc/zarharr mine not sure yet but trying to work on getting to the maps 75-70 which im hoping are the new mapsdungeons

You have to edit the map count in the Map.ini to accommodate for the new maps you added.

we hav the map count in the map.ini along wit the maps. svmaps and wld files were in i updated and there aint any portals to maps

Within the Map.ini did you actually add the maps though?
If so did you restart the server after doing so? (Not to ask a dumb question and all, but you never know with today's "Developers"..)

ye we added the maps in the map.ini along wit the map count to 109. ive been given a map.ini over night wit co-ordinates for maps 71-76 but also the maps 77-79 are in it jus no co-ordinates. so ill try that and get back to you.
No stupid questions heree  )
ok we hav restarted server we got the right map.ini working now we can use maps 71-74 btut we get map load error for the ep 6 maps 75-79 any ideas?

any1 no how to get the files dbo.mobs and dbo.mobitems out of the PS_GameDefs. ive tryed to extract it but can only extract the whole PS_GameDefs but none of my tools can open this and allow me to extract dbo.mobs and dbo.mobitems
ideas plz

well i need to use shstudio to edit the mobs exp n hp as there set to 1hp and 0exp but using that i cant edit them with out those 2 files extracted as .csv form.
atm i can open up the mobs file but it wont let me OK the changes .

1. Open LPH's Tool, open the Data.Sah of client you using.
2. Extract all.
3. Open ShStudio.
4. Go to the files you extracted.
5. Open the Monster.SData to edit mobs exp, drop, etc.
6. Open the Item.SData to edit the items.
7. Open the Cash.SData to edit the Item Mall.
8. After You edit any of them, click save.
9. Now, where you saved them i don't know, but you will have a saved SQL file from ShStudio you just edited, run it in SQL, Execute.
10. Import Item.SData/Cash.SData or something you edited, with LPH's toon.
11. Restart Server to take the effect.
DONEEE.
