How do I make event
Hi, I'm new in these matters a little.
I want to make one day a week event.
Content of the event; + 30% exp, +20% lapis link
How can I do, thank you for your interest...

EXP seems.. easy. Just input the command into ps_game.
Not too sure on the link rate, sorry.

I am not quite sure if it is possible to increase the linking rate for an event that easily, because the linking rate is under the ps_game.exe and the game.exe themselves, so basically to increase the chances you need to do some changes on both files, and doing this it would be needed to have an update on your server, and at the end of the event, you would need to simply put the old backup (without the update) back to work and do an update again...

GM also makes the announcement at 17:00 pm aeriagames "Event: 18:00 pm to 19:00 pm lasip link +% 20"
There are no updates. Event starts at 18:00 ends at 19:00.
But, how does he do GM

You can force changes to items in the database while the server is live. And you can patch .SData files...
So, the easy means of doing so, create a copy of your Item.SData.
Change the rate of the lapis in the database, force the update to the server via the /reitem command, and patch in an edited copy of your Item.SData to ensure it is showing the increased rate properly.
When the event is over, simply patch back in the old and reset the rates in the database.
If you are planning to do this as a week long event, it is a bit simpler if you are using Castor's tool. During a weekly maintenance, make the changes to the .SData, patch it in and run the output query to update the database.
Do the same at your next maintenance after changing the rates back to the norm. The entire process shouldn't take but a few minutes.

Ok everyone is saying update update update and as far as my research has spanned they are correct as I have done many tests on doing the upped link chance instant to no avail as far as visual without an update of the sdata to visually show the upped % so unless area has new toys or new ways of updating the sdata without running the updater I can't see any way else to do it

Sup sup. Sherwin was intrested of how this would look like, so yeah here it is, worked on it for about 3 minutes.. So, all it does it check if the day is thursday and if the time is 11.55. If it is, it will announce that the PK event is on, and everyone can use the /join command to get teleported to the PK Event map ( PK Arena, MapID 1005 ).
After 12.00 the PKEvent is over and you cannot join anymore. Its not fully done yet ( rewards and such ) , you'll have to do that. Anyways here you go,...
