[Help]Updater Problem, bad .patch?

Hello all, I am having an issue with updater applying my patches. I have looked around for an answer for this to no avail.

I used this guide: start to finish. have configured my updater just as the guide says... and it WILL download & install my patches. Only way i differ from the way the guide instructs is I don't use Shaiya_Make to create my patches data.saf/sah as it wouldn't work for me, I used LPH's Data tool to make data file from folder containing my updated files, in the same folder structure they belong in. I use winrar to Zip these data files after creation, compression normal as a zip not rar and rename them to psxxxx.patch. then i upload to my webserver via direct webdisk.

I have UpdateVersion.ini PatchFileVersion=(number of latest patch) i.e. ps0004.patch = PatchFileVersion=4

I have also used my very same files that I've put into the patch & rebuilt my clients data.saf in its entirety and the client works.

Now what my Updater seems to be doing is downloading the patch & replacing the ENTIRE data.saf/sah with the ones in the patch... reducing the file size to the size of the patch file... rendering my client unusable.

I have used brain.exe lol, but still I'm at a loss... can someone plz tell me where i went wrong?

Are your patch files named "update.sah" and "update.saf", or are they named "data.sah" and "data.saf"? I'm talking about the files in psxxxx.patch

lmao, silly mistake and i knew it would be, feels like a nub now hehe. tyvm rebecca. Was looking right over the silly mistake & thinking it more complicated. thanks given
