Looking for GRB Fix

Hallo,
after looking quite some time for it I couldnt find a fix for the GRB. I want to stop HM-Chars Lvl 60 resurrect with a resurrection rune in 20-30 pvp. Anyone got any ideas except taking out the runes?

in my opinion you cant stop it, those items are not related to maps, so you cant 'delete' their function for the GRB Map fix..

didnt aeria was able to stop it anyhow? correct me if i am wrong...
and another idea i got was to make it possible to activate a new continuous rune when the old one is still running, this would make the 1-time runes more useless and i could take them out completely, but here again, i got no clue how/where to change this

Just make it where upon resurection the character is not spawned on the party leader. there is no reason to have lead res on a p-server since it is primarily used as an exploit just eliminate it all together.

Change the character use of res runes to ultimate mode only. There is no need to have runes for HM or NM ^^ Good luck.

what you need to do is set the rez rune to UM only. on grow set it to a 3 from a 2 and that will stop the HMs from using it.

I tried it today and unfortunately even UM Runes are just for UM's now, HMs can still ress on the leader. Probably because they arent using it actually. So i would like to try the second option now, to deactivate lead ress completely, but could one of you give me a hint how to do so pls?

I have never tried this, but going from other way, I would try to check on how to make the portal work for UM only, maybe (?)

so come to find out changing lead res is not so simple, my next most logical suggestion make instant UM upon character creation available through castors method ( most recomended) and run an sql script to change all current HM/NM/EM characters to UM.

Castors method works great for this solution simply because you can adjust it to just make it instant UM instead of instant leveling

actually a good idea JH, on next grb i will try to find out if you have to be in grb already to lead ress into grb (or maybe anybody knows). if not it should be easy to close the port for EM,NM,HM
@flared ego: this would actually also fix the problem, but dont ask me why but some people still like playing HMs e.g. so they can level even faster und safe some money for summon runes etc^^
