very nice i am going to test it out when you make it public, it looks like you know what you are doing not like some 14 year old hosting a server of his pc because he wants to have GM powers.
Done conpletely modifying all the items ! ( not really , but we will add more colors like green on which classes can use that item in time , for now as colors excluding enhancement item we added red to lapises that break ) .
Left to do :
- Put drops ( easier and shorter )
-Fix Stealth
-Anti DDos
-Website
-Web register
-Web Paypal , OneBip and Allopass payment methods
Then .... LAUNCH TIME ! XD
Also yes , we will really care about our players ... right now we are working even till we get asleep in the night on the server to launch it asap . Also we will make many events too , so don't worry about donator-only things
You can't stop DDoS, well acctualy TBH I have a few ideal's that might stop it, I just have not looked into it...yet..
What Bane says here is true, you can't directly stop a DDoS attack but there are certain measures you can take to preventing a DDoS. Or aleast deter and attack.
If you ever do come up against a DDoS attack, the best thing for you to do, is re-route your traffic into a "sink hole" so that all the attack just goes to nowhere, but then again, that also stops any "good" traffic from gaining access to your services xD If all else fails, crawl up in a ball and cry, cuz protection against a DDoS be **** expensive.
I will give this server a fair shot, like I do most others, and I will give my opinion on it here. Not that everyone cares about any specific player's opinion, but if many people do this, it will give a good, broad view of the server
[UPDATE] It will be done today ( 00:57 AM now for me , i am from Romania ) ... We had some probs , but now solved . Done all drops , have to try opening SC3 , to make website , scripts and item mall . Then it's done .
o.O alt server RO. Arata bine din ceea ce spui ca vrei sa faci. Mult noroc !!! pana acuma toate serverele RO au fost la pamant nici unu bun tin cateva zile si apoi server picat. Succes la server !
Mersi dafgeo , mai mult pentru ca majoritatea romaniilor pe jocuri online cersesc semne , si nu inteleg anumite chestii / tot insista . Si atunci , adminii spun cam asa " Ba , nu vreti sa intelegi ca nu va dau niciun item ? Daca nu , atunci veti intelege asta acum ! " Si gata il inchide .
Soz guys , we had 3 problems that attacked us at once , we think it may be because of the Anti Dupe script , altho i edited it correctly and normally it should work ... anyway we had to reinstall server , now works fine , got to do item mall and website and drops on special mm mobs ( gold pig , gold box and teddies =D ) then we are done ... sorry for it taking longer but the droplist takes so long to write on website >.<
