Im playing Shaiya now for 7 years (im 16).
I was already [GM] so i know the ID´s and the commands.
I have a big expierience as player.
And i spek german, english and russian.

I'm sorry, but even if you were in the closed beta for AEG, you could have only been playing for 5 years... I'd like to know how you played for the first 2 years the game was still in development >.>

Hmmm i can wrote irt wrong but i know that i was playing on the firt English Server and then on the first German Server bevor i started with the p-servers.
I don´t know more what year i started to play but i play it now a very long time.

so....not even 5 years, idk why ppl keep saying they have played for such long times when closed beta has a release date (before trying to lie about it....at least check for it) cause its impossible to have played a game even before it was released as closed beta...

i bet that took down ur credibility as a GM...sorry about that but lying is not good....less when u do about a game in which 90% of the users who read these forums know a lot about

guys you need take in consideration that shaiya was lunched first in Korea and just after it comes to US and that things usually take some time, but even so 6-7 years is really to much xD

Even IF he WAS able to play 7 years, that would mean he started at 9 Years old.

Besides, I'd NEVER trust anyone under 21 to run my server as a GM. That's too much power for someone of that age. Honestly, I've seen and been through that age. I know that (usually) the anonymity of the internet, coupled with hormones, temper tantrums, etc, would be the end of the server if ANYTHING were to **** said GM off.

Hell, I know many people 25+ that I wouldn't have as a GM, let alone someone to recruit off message boards that you know nothing of?

I just don't see it as a viable option.

(Kidding I understand where you are coming from :P)
Anyway..
Why do people keep posting apps based on age and playing time?
That doesn't mean **** -.-
It's just saying "Oh I like Shaiya very much and I think I should be a GM"
Ummm..sorry but no.
Do you know how to set up a server without ANY help?
Can you run a server on your own if needed? That means being able to do patches, restart the server, ban accounts if needed, be able to fix just about any issue that comes your way, etc etc
(Stuff i have a very strong feeling you Don't know.)
If you have in game GMs why do you have GS?
Kinda ruins the purpose of it all.

Not that age is a big deal, HOWEVER, stereotypes are there for a reason. It's a certain demographic that represents one or more traits.

USUALLY age is a good identifier of potential tendencies of a person.

I know many responsible 18 year-olds... but I know more that can't even find their *** if it wasn't attached.
