But to all of you looking for a decent, techically good, active pserver - Aeriagames is your best option.

So far, I have tested many servers. Only 3 that I liked.

Evo - closed, gm ran off (pr**k)
Eternity - closed, bad gms
Nemesis - bad gms

NOT bashing just giving my opinion.

I also dled some other servers. All of them were:

-Full of bugs
-DEAD
-Too hard
-Too easy
-Closed within a few days/weeks
-N00b GMs

Now. Theres more and more new servers, that are just like described. I know, this is my 3rd thread and that I can't do much.

But, I think the reason is the dev team. where the fu** did they all dissapear to? .... Anyhow. We need some good developers that listen to players and are devoted.

This is what you should look at when making a server:

-Can you run it alone?
-Can you afford it?
-Can you satisfy your players?
-Can you make it balanced?
-Can you make a good website?
-Can you maintain it (technical difficulties really ruin servers bad)?

Ask yourself this, and be honest to yourself b4 you make a server to get 40 people on it, decreasing the population of QUALITY servers (well, when we get a good quality server) and making people miserable.

Don't hate - i cant make a pserver but i know when it sucks.

i dont think having a good website really counts
as long as its functional and gets the job done i think its fine
and you say there is no good servers.

I don't want to spam or advertise our server, but did you try it? I just would like to know (if you tried it) the cons you noticed so we can improve it =). Im aware that we still have some work to do but I dont think it is none of these things:

I wasn't aiming at any specific server.BUT so far on your server, i havent been able to even get ingame except once when i tried to relog to unlock um then never again.

what disappoints me most about most servers...
is the fact that they think everything should be flashy and should have the newest content.
which little do most know...that means little to nothing.
it kinda matters i guess of what you have
but its about how you use it.
just because you have the skills fixed or all the maps working..or custom graphics doesnt mean you have the best server.
it all comes down to how well its set up and how well you run it.
i can personally say i hate servers that take stuff like enchants and eles out. as well as making 13 stats at um
those ruin the game to me. i think every item should have a use in game except nos
i dont think the stats per level should be messed with because..if everyone hasnt noticed...once you get that many stats..close to everyone has the same build ><
same goes for nos servers. if you have ko..all your players have the same **** builds >< str, dex, rec, ko. sorry but that gets annoying really fast.

I kinda agree with OP. I've played Euro, Extreme( first one from extreme servers, not the German one), Evo, BfDW, Rebirth. One thing they got in common is that all got shut down. They always get shut down when u get decent gear.

But on the other hand on OS you just can't compete with AP buyers if you are not one. Someone on official forums once said 'Shaiya, free to play, pay to win'. Plain and simple.

Evolution was perfect server IMHO but Possum just got fed up with constant QQ of the community and left.

but thats not the topic of this and also not the place to talk about that
but anyway
instead of making topics about this kind of stuff..why not make a server with all these suggestions in it?
i can say that im working on one now and i hope to make it like what you guys are requesting because thats the type of server i would like to be on as well (:
only time will tell :P
i believe that once a server opens..as long as it listens to its players and stays open to suggestions..as well as doesnt shut down in 2 months..it will do very well o.o

well my server would still be up if the partner i relied on didnt screw up while i was focusing for a few weeks on my professional life.

Anyway, i'll eventually bring it back up someday when i get a little more time. wich is in a few weeks hopefully.

this time, if you wouldn't mind, a suggestion

-dont allow players hit 50k+ hp
-dont make EVERYTHING free. ele I's, ok, ele II's, nah - like that
-emm....make 50-53 goddess and 58 legend (6 slotted pref.) items statted the same as 70 armors and make 70 armors avialable for more variety
-make people grind&farm atleast a bit or its no fun....if i farm for a week, i expect to be stronger than some1 that does it 2days

my concept is good, ill just work again solo and dont trust anyone no more and wait till i can do it the right way. Ive been through a lot lately and i apologize for what happened to rebirth evo.

Anyway im still in love with shaiya and wont give up, my future job will allow me to have enough spare time.

i agree with siggy it was fun and all but id like a bit of work myself it gets boring just going strait into pvp almost no time to sit and actually try and test different things just pvp

Isnt that the same with aeriagames? except donate more? and everyone donates 20 there xD

well yeah, but its worse here. 20 bucks=full sets on some servers. even 100. donate=shouldn't give MUCH of an advantage.
