Acctualy, he states that Aeria Games is takeing action, when in realty it would be SonoV who would have to, i don't even think the Email MENTIONS them..
Firstly, fair to say this isnt' from AeriaGames.
Secondly, Danco mentioned there were a group of hackers looking to take out servers, it is possible someone has gotten into his server and sent an email from it but who really thinks that thoroughly? Which shows it is very possible that kalle801 is lying, as for me... i'm just going to sit back and watch, i'm not developing for a server anymore, so I don't have anything to worry about regardless, but I can say that I would have been scared to have this email because whether it's AeriaGames or not, someone is looking to shut you down.
First sign was Exclusive was misspelled in (the "Exlusive Territory") and it is a exact copy word for word to the one Possum posted when he shut down EVO. Even down to the Spelling Error.
apparently this e-mail has been copied from the letter Possum said he received.
I doubt they were that clever, why not just create an anonymous account and use an IP spoofer, why go through the trouble of using his server and hoping that somebody would dig into the header.
The only reason I can think of is to play the servers against each other, but maybe that is getting too close to wearing a tinfoil hat.
Here is my take on this, I could be completely wrong though.
The origin of the email is known, it is kalle801 server's IP address.
That leaves two options: kalle801 sent it, or someone else took advantage of his open mail server.
However kalle801 knew about open mail relays almost immediately, and blamed the problem on them. That most likely means he also knew how to spoof email headers, but it is not conclusive proof of such doing.
He also posted a link to which is not one of the top search results for an open mail relay in any web search engine that I tested. It could be that I am not searching from a German IP address, so my search results are different.
Overall it would seem that he is guilty, but in this case it is not provable.
Regardless, it is clearly NOT a genuine email from AeriaGames.
1. an email that is sent regrading copyright infringment is not sent by the copyright holder but rather there attorney.
2. secondly is the IP address and the general lack of format
3. at some point with in the letter it would have had to state Sonov or Choi Rock Games clearly as AGE is only a lease holder to the game and own no rights to it whatsoever

Totally agree. I really hate when people play dumb.
