Range for Archer/Hunter CT / US version

when I set the value to something high like 100, and then try to attack a monster far away it says insufficient range. Any ideas?

How would I go about using this? I enter it into CE but I am not able to change value.

What you have provided is a dyanimic address, which will change when you close and reopen the client and that address will only work for your machine and your machine only... Try and provide the Satic pointer + off set... Otherwise they will never work for anyone else but yourself.

Actually Runner that is a static address. It the same one I came up with for range. Try it on an archer and you'll see that it works. The default valve is 0. You can put any extra range in meters in there. The address is a 4 byte.

It allows you to cast spells with your archer at a longer distance. Like Slow. You can set it to like 15 to 20 to gain an extra 15-20m range on the spells. It doesnt however work for your basic attack.

Looks like the best value is 18 for mobs.
Any higher and you are out of its aggro zone (so it would seem).
Unless you are 1 hitting the mobs, there is no reason to even want to go higher, because they regen to full health after you hit them from outside their aggro zone.
In pvp I was setting it to 65535 (a much lower value will do the same thing), but rarely get a shot off because of the "insufficient range".
Interestingly enough, it doesn't always prevent the shot, which means there is likely hope to remove it.
I tried searching for several addresses, and codes in the disassembler that may dictate this, but have had no luck as of yet.

One interesting idea I had was to edit the coordinates of your target to match your own, or at least very close to yours (using script injection).
I believe they are found somewhere attached to the player pointer, but I have never found them.
Maybe it's time I start looking.
