well dude the reason why your getting this prob is cauz your only extracting cash.sdata , not the whole Data.saf/sah , this said , you will only see the content of cash.sdata w/o icons etc cauz you...

look in your [Only registered and activated users can see links] folder theres a file named db.config , open it then look somewhere its asking your IP you might want to your IP in it instead of localhost / 127.0.0.1

well idk if thats the same thing as the gear but normally when it turns whity its cauz is cant find the texture :p // maybe u went out of the lines when you recolored tho, make sure all the textures...
