Your sarcasm is kind of weird considering that you have to go into regedit in order to delete a program that pops of as "rising" or "Program" with a path that does not exist.

Also for those who tried these files, make sure you check your Autoruns on your Task-Manager. You might find something that's not supposed to be there.

I'd suggest you to reinstall your SQL, it might be corruptet. But I would only do that if you really made sure that you have added your user and pass to config, ran SN, etc.

Open one of the texturepack files, you can do it with notepad or so.
You will see the path of the dds files, stick to it and the items wont be purple...
