It isnt just a joke... Bigpoint (not only Seafight...) was sold for 80 mil to a chinese company whos leading browsergame in the whole world.
They own a lot of new lizenses for production and even more knowhow to produce those things.

The 3D post was absolutely a joke. "Edition Bathtub"? You don't get it?
"the new Seafight 3D - Edition Bathtub will go live today!" - When you log in, do you see any change at all? No. Because it was an April Fool's Day joke.
I know all about the acquisition and wrote about it here. The licenses they hold have absolutely nothing to do with the post about SF becoming 3D. In fact, SF as we know it is not going to exist for much longer. I give it a year at the most.
Seafight 3D they can't do it in browser, they need to create a desktop version for it (like WoT-WoW etc...) and this is not 1-2 month to do it... this is a very hard work to reform the designs, maps, buffs, effect and so on.... so it's a really big joke... till they can't repair spy system i think the whol BP Staff is a big joke
