Man I`m constantly getting nostalgic about the feeling the game had when I started back in 2011 ...
So yeah what can I say other than ... goooood **** thats freaking awesome!!! :O 100% going to sign up for the next test and going to support that Kickstarter when it comes out and I`m able to afford it

Exclamation Important Annoucement

Ahoy ePvPers!


We would like to clarify some things since we observe that some of you don't really get our project status.

Translations of this annoucement are available in French, Spanish, German, Polish, Romanian via our Facebook annoucement:


Retro Seafight won't be Retro Seafight in the future anymore.

Yes, this is true. Retro Seafight is only a temporary state. We're planning full graphic & sound conversion. We really like what we're doing, we love seafight as much as you so we'll try to recreate this oldshool feeling but with our own graphics & sounds. If you won't be interested anymore in our project in the future after graphic & sound conversion we still will appreciate your participation and help with growth of our game.


Retro Seafight is in early alpha of development.

You may ask yourself "what in the heavens does that mean ?". In our case this mean that basic functions are still under development. In this development stage everything can happen - heavy glitches, accounts resets, changes in rewards, items costs, removal of some game functions or adding new. Summing up - everything can happend, only overall game design is stable at this moment.


Planned stages of development.

We've talked alot about it when we we're planning our game development. For now we're following this schedule:

Early/mid august 2016 - start of closed beta tests.
Late october/early november 2016 - start of open beta tests.
Late 2016/early 2017 - start of official server.

Graphic & sound conversion is planned between open beta tests and starting official server.
We would like to remind that those are only planned dates and they may (and most likely will) change.


Global test sessions - what is their purpose, when will they happen, how long will they last ?

Global test sessions will take place only in early alpha and alpha stage. Their purpose is to let you see game development progression and test it even before beta starts. Sessions are time limited, they lasts around 5-6 hours then server goes offline and won't be available until next global test session. All the Global Test Sessions will be announced on Facebook and a Facebook event will be created for each of them.


Payments in our game

We know that this topic may be considered as inconvenient and we want to make it clear.
As online game we need money to keep server alive. Also we can't fully focus on developing our game without some money for ourself too. We want to keep this game as f2p and minimize p2w influence at zero/minimum. We want to focus mainly at selling graphical addons such as special effect, designs, and booster like premium, discount or reward doubler.

I'm curious to know what actions you will take if they start making bots for this game

I really know and understand what type of prices turns around a Server.
You guys make a good job and I'm following you from the project born.

Thats great... I think everyone can understand that you need some money...

But:
Selling only grafics are great. Take a look on League of Legends... They´re doing the same and they have a own Leaguesystem, IN THE WORLD.

Great way...
