Anlässlich des bevorstehenden Jubiläums hat Betreiber Bigpoint (Pirate Storm, Shards of War) nun ein zweiwöchiges Event angekündigt, das nicht nur euer Können als Monsterjäger, sondern auch eure Teamfähigkeit auf die Probe stellt. Um den neunten Geburtstag von Seafight gebührend zu feiern, entlässt der Hamburger Spielbetreiber bald ein teuflisches Monster in die virtuellen Meere, das ihr nur in Zusammenarbeit mit anderen Seeräubern erledigen könnt. Zudem erwarten euch spannende Quests, bei denen ihr kostbare Belohnungen einheimst.
Seafight TyphonNachdem ihr beim Valentinstags-Event gegen Calypso gekämpft habt, trefft ihr nun auf ein anderes liebreizendes Geschöpf, das euch zur Begrüßung gefährliche Blitze entgegenspuckt. Der monströse Zitteraal Typhon, der auch die letztjährige Geburtstagsfeier in Seafight aufgemischt hat, verbreitet nicht nur Angst und Schrecken unter den Piraten. Tapfere und ruhmsüchtige Freibeuter sehen das seltene Wesen auch als willkommene Beute und nehmen es nur zu gerne ins Visier. Dafür braucht ihr jedoch ausreichend Konfetti-Munition. Darüber hinaus trefft ihr auf Emily Davis, die euch mit einer Reihe von Aufgaben versorgt. Die rothaarige Quest-Geberin hat täglich neue Aufträge auf Lager, die ihr gemeinsam mit anderen Piraten erledigt. Dadurch erbeutet ihr in Seafight praktische Objekte, die ihr für das Geburtstags-Event im Spiel gut gebrauchen könnt. Unter den Belohnungen finden sich beispielsweise uralte Wappen, durch die ihr euch Zugang zu einer Boss-Map verschafft. Dort erwartet euch ein mächtiger Gegner, der sich nur mit viel Mut und der richtigen Strategie überlisten lässt. Wenn es euch gelingt, den Boss zur Strecke zu bringen, habt ihr die Chance, das exklusive Schiffsdesign Caspio in euren Besitz zu bringen. Außerdem erwartet euch während des Geburtstags-Events ein wertvoller Smaragddrache.
Ab Mittwoch, den 18. März, gilt es, in Seafight die Augen nach Typhon offen zu halten und fleißig die Aufgaben von Emily Davis zu meistern. Zwei Wochen lang – also bis zum 31. März – habt ihr Zeit, um alle Belohnungen abzustauben, denn dann endet das Event.
