I have use custom client from Monday until today 15:00, and i don't have ban
For me the reason for ban is, than voodoo bug, Raid Bot user: some many people stay in raid for month, and make a big amount of pearl.
If raid is the ban reason, pfff, im sooo f**ked up!
Note, Whether scars are bannable or not, i will release 2.8 on friday. Then if the reason is scar, i will try to find anti-ban measures, but first i have to learn how they are able to detect a bot
Scar itself won't be detected, the detection is in the time you play. For example if you play 24/7 you'll surely get a ban, cause it's just impossible for a human to play that much.
Tricks to make it harder to detect Scar's, add features like 'toilet-break' (lol), people have to go to the toilet :P and let their boat just wait in the corner of the raid/bonusmap untill their back. Sometimes people just do things at their homepage, or watching a Youtube video (random waiting times). Functions like these will improve the more 'human-like' playing. Especially in bonusmaps, cause glitterbots are just so hard to improve because people can record you, also in raid.

We are reason of bans. I don't use any bot for night, only morning/evening. When people go to sleep, open scar for all night... an this is unlikely for human.
I am sure the player who continue using bot 24/24 and have million pearls get banned.

No "anti-ban" measures will be added at this point.
First i want to see and monitor the speed of the script. Npc search should be 2x-3x faster than 2.72.
After knowing that it runs smoothly, i can proceed with adding the first counter-measures. Just to mention, by using them, you are not 100% safe but ship activity and moves will be more human-like

I have an idea for improve search system: when other player shot for first for example santa lucia, bot already shot him when hp are 80/90/100%, there is a risk to cheat him/her ship.
Maybe you can add future shipwreck hp system detected for this bot?

Are you sure that you did not change anything in that line?
According to my current knowledge this happens because of:
1)Invalid Search Area.
2)A bitmap is freed-up from memory and after that it is recalled again.
So let's check it. Area is for sure valid if you auto-defined it. However if you manually defined Seamap and the coordinates are wrong(smx1>smx2, smy1>smy2), then this is the problem.
Bitmap "Admiral" is never freed-up so it cant be 2

Since the event has started, i saw people asking for a shipwreckbot. I was working on npcbot but the "base script" was already ready. So i made some changes in range and bitmaps in order to shoot wrecks.
For one more time, i have to mention that more than half of the procedures belong to xRiDDi, so part of the credits go to him.
The bot is almost ready. Everything is working good, however if you find any bug report it here in order to be fixed as fast as possible.
