That must have been long ago though. For almost three years now the chatserver verifies your session id and your userid before it lets you in (starting with version 2.0). To be precise, even the username is verifed.
So if userid and sessionid don't match, or if one of those is invalid it won't let you connect.
Also the userid isn't taken from the flashparameters, but from the gameserver login message, so there is no chance to change it that way. But maybe that was different in the past.
Before the chatserver verified user- and sessionid you could not only login with a userid of your choice, but even with a name of your choice.
I used that sometimes to write i.e. with one-letter nicknames (that was also not bannable of course). Back then I wrote a basic external client to use the Bigpoint chat without having a map window open, which was taking advantage of the above. It still works, but became pointless since you now can login only with your real account.
