Automated warn and block system for bot-using players
Ahoy Swashbucklers,

We’ve already issued several warnings telling you that the use of so-called bots violates our company’s Terms and Conditions and therefore qualifies as a breach of contract. Bots are software applications that run automated game tasks or directly influence the outcome of the game in a way that normal players could never achieve. In the past, we’ve taken multiple precautions to keep bot-using players under control and stop them, since their actions are harmful to other players and unfairly influence the game.

However, there are still a couple of cheaters out there who don’t seem to care that they are intentionally harming other players. That’s why we’ve developed new methods and procedures which actively and permanently track down and identify users that use bots. If we suspect that you are using a bot, we will warn you and if necessary immediately and permanently ban your game account.

This is our last warning:

Stop using bots, scripts and other unauthorized applications!

I want to ask will it be safe to use your bot in future ? I really hope that it will be like that, because this program is great and I don't want to pay any money to those greedy people from BP. Will be there some feature in the bot to buy automatically new light after 3 hours ? Thx

Sorry for my german response, but I am too lazy to translate.
Just a quick answer in english:
The bot will be as safe as before after the next update.
This fuction, that buys after 3h a new lamp is a nice idea.

German:

Sie haben einfach keine Chance und versuchen den Leuten Angst zu machen um somit die Leute vom Bot-Usen abzuhalten.

Wenn man das ganze logisch angeht und einmal überlegt wie man die Botter am besten stoppt, dann sollte man nach etwas Überlegen auf diesen Ansatz kommen:

Wir führen jetzt eine neue Anti-Botting-Methode ein, die aber geheim gehalten werden sollte. Und zwar so geheim, dass man nicht einmal merkt, dass ein neues Update eingespielt wurde. Der Grund dafür ist ganz einfach, schreiben wir eine öffentliche Bekanntmachung, dann bekommt das der Bot-Schreiber sehr schnell mit und umgeht die neue Methode, wir haben dann vielleicht gerade einmal 24h um Leute zu bannen. Halten wir alles extrem geheim, dann erfährt der Bot-Schreiber erst relativ spät davon, vermutlich nach ca. 1-2 Wochen in dieser Zeit haben wir dann schon vergleichsweise mehr Botter gefunden und können auch mehr sperren und je mehr wir sperren desto weniger werden sich trauen noch einmal zu botten.

Das entspricht aber nicht dem Inhalt ihrer Ankündigung.
Diese Ankündigung ist also mehr ein "Hilferuf" als ein "total sicheres und unbesiegbares" Anti-Botting-System.

But I found a problem, when you are in the "new" light of tortuga you can't collect shineys, the system doesn't let you do it... tested it on my own today, so it's not a rumour. You have to hack/code this thing or we will have to collect shineys all the time on 1st level maps. :S Or at least up to 5th level where the npc doesn't shoot back at you, otherwise we will be sunk all the time.

erkennt er angriffe und flieht? oder schießt er sogar zurück?
das wären so die fragen die ich dazu hätte

ist jetzt doch zimlich blöd das mit dem licht, verbässerungs weiße das er ohne licht sammelt und wen er angegriffen wird zurück schießt und sich selbst reppen kann.

Dazu lädst du am besten mal den Bot runter und schaust ihn dir an.
