S4 APEX is built from the official S4 League client and server code, with client data through the January 2026 updates. We’ve brought back late-era systems and worked on the parts that make it easier to play today.
FPS UNLOCKED
The old 62.5 FPS cap is gone. Choose Auto, set a cap from 30 to 1000, or go unlimited. Find it under Options > Graphics or type /fps in chat. The game simulation runs at the same speed at every frame rate, so higher FPS makes motion smoother without changing gameplay.
AI ROOMS
AI Fill adds bots to empty slots; AI Practice gives you a place to train without competitive effect. Choose Easy, Normal, Hard or Expert. Bots are supported in Deathmatch, Touchdown, Chaser, Battle Royal and Siege, with up to eight bots per room. Captain, Warfare and some maps are excluded.
LATE-ERA SYSTEMS, BACK IN PLACE
Daily sign-in, daily missions, achievement rewards, VIP and the G-Coin → AP shop are restored. More than 850 item effects and enchant options are back, along with Snow Earth Bomber and fixes for costume textures that used to render black.
STABILITY AND FAIR PLAY
We’ve fixed several long-standing crashes, improved match starts and added automatic server recovery. Server-side checks validate match reports and detect impossible speed. Network protections help guard against malformed packets and flooding. The client checks its files and launches through the official S4 APEX launcher. Clearly impossible actions are blocked; borderline cases are logged for review so ordinary lag does not trigger an automatic ban.
THE LAUNCHER AND SITE
The S4 APEX launcher supports signed updates, resumable downloads and file repair. The website includes an account portal with two-factor sign-in, G-Coin top-up, live player and club rankings, a game wiki, vote rewards and referrals.
