well in essence your right my freind told me though that it might be working on a HUD system where the weapons and gear arent used as models but rather are called up to be used oon screen etc baisicly call up wats need and leave whats not if thats the case its just a matter of changeing the items "call number" to a seperate one IE the katana ps idea its also how u swap out the psds on the file for color modding
THIS is based on assumptions based on the idea that s4 runs off a HUD system if they dont then its probly because the file names arent specific and need to be pulled up in a 3d design program (also mention by friend but thats knowledge i know)
x.x i used to be able to do these things when i played a backwater mmo named tales of pirates, i was on a develop team for a private server i ended up comeing across a program that displayed most of the game code in hexidecimal packets and listed them in an easy to find/change display XD all it realy is is takeing the sum 4-6 digit number thats used as a call for the weapon and adjusting the colorings to the associated psd file etc model alterations are meerly different models saved ofer the previous moodels number ( these are all cleint side mods nothing extreme on the hack meter but still fun to tinker with) the only issue is finding the right files to change and knowing where to stick the appropriate model files and such to work it wich is whtat im realy asking xD wich honestly makes me embaraced cuz i cant figure it out worth a **** once i do i just need to figure out blender and vioala alterd outfits, custom outfits, custom weapons, and even if ur good enough custom animations
x3 im gonna end up makeing a efferent style katana, chakrams instead of TBs a cooler outfit etc possibly alterd cs anims and apperance etc idk itll come to me as i progress with it all but the katana and outfit will end up being the basis :P anyways theres some more information on my question
as well as some tips for those who want to do the same but dont know how
