Yeah, I do that too to keep playing. But when I log off, I get autobanned. Maybe hacks and HTD and getting banned works different for each of us, I don't know. o.o

There are several different HTD´s.

Some get you banned, e.g when you hack.
Some just kick you out of the game, because they detect Skype/IMs as tools.
So it depends.

And I don´t think this method works for hacking.

I actually have 2 questions for you, I don't know if you would know or anyone else would know.

1. Is there a disconnecting hack?

2. When/If a GM decides to kick you off the game, what happens?

I ask these questions cause last night some kid said he would whisper a GM to come into his room and kick/ban any hackers. So when I decided to whip out my gun in the sword only room, my character suddenly froze in place. She could run and jump, but not move. After maybe a minute, she would appear where she would have been if she could move, but nothing would happen. It was like I was disconnecting from the server, but still able to run around on my character.

Is that a sign of a GM kicking me or a possible disconnecting hack?

If one comes then the HTD is automatically transferred to databases.

1. Not really.
The GM´s can kick/ban players Ingame.
[Or what De4su told me, get the IP of someone to flood him so that he gets a Internet dc"]

2. There are two ways I know:
-Kick out of the game: String Table Error
-Kick from the server (you get to the server overview)

The freeze in a place thing is a Server lagg that happens from time to time.
This cannot be caused by GMs.
